I’m asuka from Japan!

I spent the New Year traveling with my husband in Cairo (Egypt) and Athens (Greece), and it was such a refreshing break. How was your holiday season? 😊

I planned to restart weekly uploads in January, but my full-time job has become very busy, so my upload frequency will be lower for a while. I’m really sorry…

So for the next few months (January to May), my upload schedule will likely be 1–2 videos per month instead of about 4 videos per month from January to May🙇‍♀️

Even though the uploads will be less frequent, I’m still working on videos that help you relax and enjoy Japanese daily life & culture 🌿
I’d be so happy if you could stay with me and look forward to each new upload.

Your warm comments truly support me, more than you know.
And I hope my videos can also be a small source of comfort or a little “reset” moment in your day.

Hi everyone👋 I'm asuka!

I wanted to let you know that there will be no video upload this week.
I’m really sorry if you were looking forward to it.

I’ll be taking a 2weeks break over the New Year and traveling abroad, so the next video is planned for mid-January.
I honestly wanted to prepare videos in advance so I could keep uploading during the holidays, but work has been extremely busy at the end of the year and I wasn’t able to do it. I’m sorry…

In Japan, many companies don’t have a Christmas break, and a lot of people continue working until December 26, so it’s a very busy time for us.
When do the holidays start in your country? I truly hope you all have a peaceful and wonderful end-of-year break.🎄🎊

I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I started YouTube in July this year, and thanks to your support, we’re almost at 100,000 subscribers!
Balancing my full-time job with YouTube has been challenging, but your warm comments and the chance to connect across cultures have kept me going.

Sorry for the delay in uploading videos this week...
As I mentioned in my previous ''manga cafe'' and ''ramen'' video, I've been very busy with work troubles this month, which slowed down editing.

But the troubleshooting is finally done!!!!! Yay!!!
This week's video is about my night routine after finishing work at 6 PM, where I treat myself to a little reward.

Even though it's a reward, it's just real Japanese life, so I'd be enjoyed if you'd watch this week's video too!
