PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE

Johan Lange comes out after the January window and seriously tries to justify failure by saying “there were only 33 Premier League transfers.”

That’s not analysis. That’s an excuse. A weak, pathetic one. #LangeOUT

Let’s add some CONTEXT to that “33 transfers” line…

He’s actually including FREE TRANSFERS in that number.

Basically saying clubs weren't spending due to FFP & PSR, even though we were told this would be a major advantage for us

You genuinely couldn’t make it up.

And then comes the real kicker…

He has the audacity to say
“There weren’t many players available.”
This is a Premier League sporting director saying that.

#Embarrassing.

There are ALWAYS players available.

Every window. Every league. Every level.

The difference is simple:
Top clubs FIND solutions.
We manufacture excuses.

Meanwhile, for YEARS, Daniel Levy has hammered the same line:

“We must be responsible. We must align with FFP.”
Fine. Fans bought into it. We endured it. #TheLevyLies

Then came Financial Fair Play.

We were told this would put us in a strong position.
That patience would give us an edge.
That one day… we’d be READY to strike.

Then came Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Same script. Same promises.
“Once we’re aligned, we’ll have the advantage.”
We waited. Yet Again.

Well guess what?

We ARE aligned.
We ARE financially strong.
We can reportedly spend north of £300M without even getting close to limits.
This is EXACTLY the position we were sold.

And what have we done with that “advantage”?

Nothing.

Absolutely NOTHING of significance.

While others hesitate… we freeze.

And Lange’s defence?

“Other clubs didn’t spend.”

That’s not a justification
That’s an open invitation to DOMINATE the market & to start reaping the rewards of this so called plan. Time to flex our financial muscle & be the biggest financial bully in the yard.

#ENICLies

Low activity across the league should have been perfect:

Less competition.
Better deals.
More leverage.
Instead… we sat on our hands and called it strategy. #ToDareIsToDoNOTHING

So let’s piece this together:

• Inflated transfer numbers (including free deals)
• Claims of a “quiet window”
• “Not many players available”
• “Other clubs didn’t spend”
It’s excuse after excuse after excuse. #ExcuseAfterExcuse #LieAfterLie

This completely destroys the narrative we’ve been fed for years.

“All this restraint is for the future.”
“We’re building towards a moment of strength.”
The moment arrived…

And the club bottled it.

Let’s call it what it is:

This isn’t strategy.
This isn’t patience.
This isn’t smart business.
It’s cowardice dressed up as prudence.

Elite clubs don’t hide behind market conditions.

They CREATE opportunities.
They TAKE risks.
They MOVE first.
We had the power and chose irrelevance.

Clubs fighting relegation like we are right now, teams that are staring down the barrel of the Championship and a MASSIVE financial hit still go out and spend.

They fight. They gamble. They take risks to survive.

These clubs know what’s at stake:
Loss of revenue
Loss of players
Loss of status
So they act

Meanwhile, at Tottenham Hotspur in one of the strongest financial positions in the league with every supposed “advantage” does nothing.

No urgency.
No aggression.
No ambition.

Relegation-threatened clubs around us show more hunger, more bravery, and more intent than we do.

Let that sink in.

They’re fighting to survive.
We simply do nothing

Summary:
Lange tried to justify Spurs’ failure by claiming there were only 33 Premier League transfers conveniently including free transfers to inflate the number.

While also calling it a “quiet window” and claiming there weren’t many players available.
At the same time, the club has spent years telling fans that aligning with FFP and PSR would give us a huge financial advantage.

Now we finally have that advantage, potentially hundreds of millions in spending power and do absolutely nothing with it.

Instead of leading the market when others hesitate, we hide behind excuses that completely contradict everything we were promised.

This isn’t strategy. It’s failure.

STOP SWALLOWING THE BULLSHIT THE CLUB ARE FEEDING YOU

I am on a mission to show this board and ownership up for who they really are. The have been sitting in the shadows for to long this season and Im going to shine the biggest and brightest light on them

To all #Spurs fans that said Levy would've spent big to get us out of trouble

Spurs January transfer windows under Levy & ENIC… a history of hesitation, penny-pinching & “opportunities” instead of ambition.
Here’s the reality 🧵👇
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

2026: Matheus Souza & Conor Gallagher
Souza = permanent deal 📝
Gallagher = permanent deal 📝

Same script, different year.
One for tomorrow, one to plug today.
And we wonder why nothing truly changes…
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut #LevyOut

2025: Kevin Danso & Mathys Tel
Danso = permanent deal 📝
Tel = loan deal 🔁
Once again… a mix of “future planning” & short-term patchwork.
Commitment or compromise?
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut #LevyOut

2024: Timo Werner (loan) & Radu Drăgușin
One short-term fix, one actual signing.
Why is proper planning the exception, not the rule?
#Spurs #THFC #COYS

2023: Pedro Porro & Arnaut Danjuma
Porro worked. Danjuma barely played.
Another window of half-measures. Porro being the target on 1st January Levy haggled and delayed till #DeadlineDay to pay the price Sporting wanted to start with
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

2022: Dejan Kulusevski & Rodrigo Bentancur
The exception. The gold standard.
Proof that when Spurs act properly, it WORKS.
So why don’t we do it every year?
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #LevyOut #ENICout

2021: NO SIGNINGS ❌
Jose Mourinho as our manager A squad crying out for help… ignored.
This isn’t strategy. It’s negligence.
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

2020: Steven Bergwijn & Gedson Fernandes
One inconsistent, one irrelevant.
Another “we tried something” window.
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #LevyOut

2019:
NO. SIGNINGS. ❌❌❌
During the peak of Mauricio Pochettino’s era…
Zero backing while competing at the top.
Unforgivable.

#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut
2018: Lucas Moura
Deadline day signing ⏳
A rare late hit… but even that sums it up:
Wait until the last second, then react.

Moments of brilliance, built on chaos—not planning.
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

2017:
YET AGAIN NO SIGNINGS. ❌❌❌
During the peak of Mauricio Pochettino’s era…
Zero backing while competing at the top.
Unforgivable.
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

2016: Shilow Tracey
Signed from Ebbsfleet for the development squad 📝
The ONLY January arrival. Not for the first team.

While others pushed on… we stood still. Again.
#Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

2015: Dele Alli
Signed & loaned back.
One of the VERY few January masterstrokes.

A reminder of what competence looks like.

💣 The Pattern (And Why Fans Lose Their Heads)

💣 The Pattern under Daniel Levy and ENIC

❌ Multiple January windows with zero signings
🔁 Heavy reliance on loans & short-term fixes
⏳ Deals dragged to deadline day
💰 Reluctance to pay slightly higher fees when it matters most

15/16
⚖️ The Reality
✅ Rare Success Stories:
Kulusevski & Bentancur (2022)
Porro (2023)
Dele Alli (2015, technically)
❌ Common Outcomes:
Panic loans (Danjuma, Gedson)
Stop-gap attackers (Werner)
No activity at all during crucial seasons

🔥 Brutal Truth (How Spurs)
January is where serious clubs win titles or secure top 4.
For Spurs?
It’s usually:
“We tried but the right opportunity didn’t come up.” "We didn't want to panic buy"

Levy would've done exactly what the above states and shows that whether we were challenging for the Top 4, battling relegation & in the Bottom 3 or anything in between he'd do nothing to help the managers or squad
