Adhyatmik Anusandhanam

A journey to explore, learn, and understand the spiritual and cultural teachings laid down by #sanatandharma.

Adhyatmik Anusandhanam

Shri Bhagavatpada Adi Shankaracharya is the foremost teacher (Guru) of Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy of non-duality.

Revered as an incarnation of Lord Shiva, he showed exceptional brilliance from a very young age. By 8, he had mastered the four Vedas, and by 12, he was well-versed in all the shastras. At a young age, he wrote profound commentaries (Bhashyas) on the Brahmasutras, the Shrimad Bhagawadgita, and the Upanishads—together known as the Prasthanatrayi.

A verse from Shri Shankar Bhagavatpada Stuti captures his greatness:

अष्टवर्षे चतुर्वेदी द्वादशेऽखिलशास्त्रवित् ।
सर्वलोकख्यातशीलः प्रस्थानत्रयभाष्यकृत् ॥

He traveled across Bharat on foot, spreading the knowledge of Advaita Vedanta and Sanatana Dharma.

On the occasion of Shri Shankar Jayanti (Vaishakha Shukla Panchami), we offer our reverence to this extraordinary master—a philosopher, reformer, and visionary who revived and strengthened the timeless knowledge of Sanatana Dharma for generations.
