For as long as I can remember, I was not very motivated to pursue things outside of the bases: school or work. Especially not on my own. I was always too mentally drained from my running thoughts, or too scared to fail due to childhood bullying, or quite frankly just too depressed to want to make my life better.
But for the past 6 months, I have not recognized that person. It took me years after first toying with the idea, but buying my own home (with a helpful home office) gave me the little push I needed. Even through recent difficult times, I’ve remained consistent in creating videos every week, learning and growing every time, and enjoying the process along the way – of both the content creation and the interior design aspect. Now all that has paid off and I feel VAAAALidated in my abilities.
