Hello, viewers of this channel!

As you've probably seen, I have over 2,100 videos on this channel. However, only 21 videos have been uploaded this year so far. What's going on?

1. Collaboration Bands
Hexadecimalblocks was originally just going to be me and TPOT Pen. However, people joined over time, and now it's a giant collaboration band, which likely spawned the genre of collaboration bands (although Pen had been doing them way before me). These videos take longer because not everyone can work on videos at the same pace. I try to work on them as frequently as possible, but Band 6 is on hold right now due to me trying to finish other content first.

2. Solo Content
My solo content is just a large pile of unfinished videos, ranging from recently to dozens of months ago. I get caught up in a thing I want to finish, then forget about it while it's still unfinished. The Yearblocks (2001-2025) video falls into this category. Originally, there would be 23 per band starting from 1888 (when the camera was invented, I think.) and ending in 2025, but my lazy self never even finished 1892 in a week, whereas in a week I've made the first 12 bands and every sprite for 2001-2025, thanks to me having more control over what I want to do with designs (as it's literally my generation). These take less time and I get more creative liberties, but they're still annoying and tedious to manage. This is why some series like dusbb TWO, Dateblocks, Timeblocks and more died off.

3. Motivation
I've been going outside way more recently (contrary to popular belief, I touch grass.) and I've been enjoying it way more, especially just riding my bike from where I live. This means I've active for less time, and I've also been hanging out with IRL friends more often too, giving me even less time. I still work on bands almost every day, but sometimes it does get stressful working on bands for a 16k sub channel. (I'm still grateful for that, thank you all so much <3).

Overall, that's why my uploads have snaked off. This was also true back in 2025, well, minus most of the 3rd section. There is also:

4. Drama
I've been caught up in drama constantly since 2024. I would list all of them here, but one of them actually led one of my livestreams to get illegally taken down due to me exposing the truth. Due to this, I don't speak of the person anymore, but I've mentioned their name in the past. For clues, it's someone I mentioned in 2024 band 79. In 2024, there was the drama between Starry and Rodolfo that nearly tore my entire friend group apart, Glitchy getting mad at me for something he later realised was entirely false and a few more minor things. In 2025, there was a bunch of dramas surrounding me. In January AND June, it was dramas between Starry because of her blatant stealing of my content and working with people who we don't like, the May dramas with Root Function (she's fine now though), and how could we forget the August/September drama that led to me getting outcast from the NBC for an entire month and a half? There was also October drama (related to the illegally taken down livestream). Even in 2026, there's drama. Drama early in the year surrounding Mary (and everyone bullied me despite me being in the right), the March dramas with Glitchy (who we don't talk to anymore (he did some horrible stuff)) and finally the April-ongoing drama surrounding "SQRT7", who made horrible remarks (claiming that one of his personas was in the hospital when that clearly never happened). He has at least 6 identities, in which we have all found out.

Overall (again), that's why I've been less active recently. From now, I'll try to get more content out, but don't expect it to be every few days.

In the distant future (aka this month, hopefully before the 15th of June!), I will be releasing Yearblocks Band (2001-2025)! Since most of the people doing Yearblocks sagas aren't the best people (cough cough ultranarwhal cough cough arthur tube cough cough), why not do a take of my own?
