This will take time to edit and upload, but I caught a full second alarm response for a lightning strike yesterday. 26 units, pre arrival and scene footage. Stay tuned!

Life has been busy and calls have been few and far between, but I do have some interesting news. Truck 48, still awaiting its proper in-service at temporary Station 48 (date TBD), had a brief stint at 54 this week. Within a year, the Brontos from 54 and 83 should both be replaced by identical trucks to 48. Where exactly this rig will pop up again is unknown until 44 moves in to their permanent station (Reams and Summerlake Park) and 48 moves into the temporary location.

Well, technically I got a video of TRT1 responding. Sorry to disappoint, but it was non-emergency.

Not much to report on the footage front lately, but the latest batch of engines has arrived with deliveries to 36, 73, and 86!

Not exactly anything worth videos today, but I ran back to the scene of last week’s brush fire to get this shot of Woods 76 today. Forestry called them out to assist with digging some lines back near the burned area, but there was no fire today.

Battalion 7 Fire Responses

With my recent short featuring Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, I wish to take a moment to explain why I’ve been disabling many comments on videos, shorts, and posts. As my videos get viewed by wider audiences, I’ve been seeing more and more comments that need to be deleted. Specifically, ignorant and hateful comments directed at law enforcement (or me) any time I’m lucky enough to feature them in my responses. If you think that kind of attitude is going to be welcome on a channel run by someone who supports first responders, red and blue alike, then you have come to the wrong place. Don’t watch my videos if you don’t want to see law enforcement. And don’t go over to Instagram and complain there, because I will screenshot those problematic comments and share them with my followers. I do not contest the reality that there are bad police officers out there, and that systemic problems do exist, but I am not going to tolerate people demonizing the entirely of law enforcement (or anyone else) because of the actions of a few.
