"𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤" is an NGO that promotes early and exclusive breastfeeding by counseling, training and treating the Mothers. It is Telangana's first human Milk Bank.

'𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢 𝐂𝐋𝐌𝐂' is an health initiative by '𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧' providing pasteurized donor human milk to preterm babies.

𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: No infant is deprived of God's greatest gift, "the mothers milk" during the early days of life.

𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Promoting early and exclusive breastfeeding by counseling, training and treating the Mothers. Ensuring that every infant gets access to mothers milk naturally or by wet nursing or by promoting human milk banking.

Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates Dhaatri Mother's Milk Bank and CLMC at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur.

Gorakhpur, August 3, 2024: In a significant milestone, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today inaugurated the Dhaatri Mothers Milk Bank and Central Lactation Management Center (CLMC) at the Bal Rog Chikitsa Sansthan, BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including CMO Dr Ashutosh Dubey, Shri Partha Sarthi Sen Sarma, Principal Secretary of the Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of UP, BRDMC Principal Prof Dr Ram Kumar Jaiswal, Prof and HOD Pediatrics Dr. Bhupendra Sharma, Sushena Health Foundation Founder and General Secretary and Member, National Medical Commission, Dr. Santosh Kumar Kraleti, Commissioner Anil Dhingra, and Dr. Yadvendra Singh, Senior Advisor, Dhaatri Mother's Milk Bank. Smt Neelam Singh, Gorakhpur CLMC Coordinator, and Neha Yadav, Lactation Counselor, were also present.

Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji congratulated the Sushena Health Foundation for its public partnership and appreciated the work of Dhaatri Mother's Milk Bank in benefiting the lives of newborn babies. The milk bank aims to provide lifesaving breast milk, both mothers own milk and pasteurized donor human milk to vulnerable infants, promoting their health and well-being.

This initiative reinforces the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities and services in the state, particularly for mothers and children.
