πŸ”₯ Tier List Tuesday – FB10 Edition! πŸ”₯

The FB10 meta is finally starting to settle, so it's time for another Tier List Tues... Thursday?!

I'm only including decks I think are currently relevant in the meta, whether they're new leaders or older decks that are still putting up results. Again, don't read TOO much into the %'s s they are arbitrary numbering in my brain to help put vibes into a chart. Opinions may vary that's fine

Z Tier

SS3 Goku – The uncontested BDIF. Thankfully it doesn't feel like Tier 0, but that means no emergency hits... clearly it just needs more support, right?

S Tier

SS4 Gogeta – I don't love putting it this high, but I'm sure you've played against this when it hits the Curve. It performs well into many of the new decks, and when it curves out optimally it's still incredibly difficult to stop. Nothing really changed in deck lists, it just continues to gatekeep a lot of strategies.

FB10 Vegito – One of the new kids on the block. Very polarized matchup spread, but excellent into most older leaders (outside of SS4 and Namek) while also holding its own against several new decks.

Boujack – Another new leader with some polarized matchups. Opponents need to find their cantrips early or they simply get run over by constant pressure. When this deck curves with Zangya, it snowballs fast.

Namek Goku (Black) – Still feels underrepresented. SS3 is rough and Yellow Gogeta is a nightmare, but outside of those matchups this deck is quietly very solid.

A Tier

Yellow Gogeta – If it gets to play its game uncontested, it's incredibly strong. That just doesn't happen as often as you'd like. Feels like the baseline for competitive decks.

Yellow Vegeta – Still one of the most annoying decks to play against. SS3 and Boujack can pressure it early, but it also has several near auto-win matchups.

Gogeta BR – Probably my hottest take. I think the deck lost more than people expected. It still keeps SS4 Gogeta honest and can absolutely pop off when it finds its 2c dual names, but overall it feels weaker.

Yellow Broly – Another controversial placement. A very grindy deck with a 25k leader that can slowly take over games. Definitely deserves more respect than it's getting.

Jiren – Another hot take. I think Jiren is perfectly fine right now. Still farms a lot of decks outside of Yellow Evolve and SS4 Gogeta. Kefla spam is still a real win condition.

B Tier

Beast Gohan – Significantly better than last format. Some rough matchups remain, but don't underestimate this deck. Its combo turn is absurd and it can easily win on Turn 5 or set up an unbeatable follow-up.

Turles – From zero to hero? The new promo and support are excellent. I could definitely see this moving up as lists improve. Biggest downside is Kill Driver only hitting 5-costs instead of 6-costs.

Cell (Black) – Solid new deck with some interesting lines, but it has clear weaknesses that keep it from climbing higher.

MUI Goku – Still a good deck, but if you're looking to play blue, I think FB10 Vegito is simply the better choice right now.

C Tier

FB05 Vegito – Basically the same story as last format. Good blue cards are still good. It feels like the Temu version of FB10 Vegito... but more support is coming soon.

Broly BR – Another combo deck, but I think Beast Gohan fills that role better while being more flexible.

BombKu – Super fun combo deck with some unwinnable matchups, but when it goes off it REALLY goes off. Going from 6–7 life to 0 with Cheelai into Krillin burn followed by an 80k+ Goku before the Triple Strike is always hilarious.

The rest of the leaders are still playable, but these are the ones I'd actually consider bringing to an event right now.

πŸŽ‰ Also... we hit 1,000 subscribers!!

Thank you all so much for the support, comments, discussions, and for watching the videos. It's been awesome seeing this community grow, and I'm excited to keep making gameplay videos, tier lists, and deck discussions.

Here's to the next 1,000! ❀️

We've voted on the new leaders, but what about the FB09 legacy support? πŸ‘€

Even if they don't end up becoming top-tier decks, which support package are you most excited to try?

There are also still the Bulma, Gotenks, and Glorio promos coming to English later, so some of these decks might not even be fully powered up yet!

What are you testing first?

FB09 Meta Set in Stone

At this point, the format has become pretty well defined. SS3 Goku and Gogeta BR look like the decks to beat, with a handful of other leaders sitting in that A range.

These aren't in any particular orderβ€”just grouped by overall playability and how competitive they currently feel.

If a leader isn't on the list, it's usually because it's struggling with one major issue or another: consistency, speed, matchup spread, or just not having a strong enough payoff compared to what the top decks are doing.

Honestly, I think SS4 Gogeta is the biggest hurdle in the format right now. Whether it's actually one of the best decks or not, it gatekeeps a lot of strategies from even being considered. If your deck can't get past the Board wipe or Skill negate combined with the pressure and tempo that SS4 puts out, it's hard to justify playing it.

Hoping FB10 can add or shake it up a bit

πŸ”₯ FB09 Releases Soon! πŸ”₯

Hey all,

Long time no post! I’ve mostly been taking a break during the off-season while preparing for FB09 and helping with some Worlds testing. Because of that I can’t share too much specific info, but I will still be putting out videos for each new leader next set.

With all the leaders revealed and the previews from the official channel, this set is looking crazy strong.

🧠 Initial Leader Analysis

πŸ”΄ Gogeta BR (Red)
Very fast tempo deck with a lot of play lines. The new promo helps the deck a lot.

πŸ”΅ MUI (Blue)
Super cool concept of crafting the perfect hand. Probably the most skill-intensive deck in the set.
But right out of the gate it seems like it might struggle into Green ramp (classic blue problem).

🟒 Gohan SH (Beast)
Combo-focused deck. Honestly reminds me a bit of Broly BR + Omega Shenron style turns where you build up to a huge pressure combo turn.

🟑 Gogeta (Yellow)
Probably the most hyped leader of the set. Very powerful, but I'm still not convinced it's as good as people think.

⚫ SS4 Gogeta
The other boogeyman of the format. Very linear but extremely powerful playstyle built around the new KI mechanic.
Feels like a tempo menace, but the real question is:
πŸ‘‰ Is it fast enough to beat Green Ramp?

πŸ“¦ EX Starter Deck Leaders

SS3 Goku
Aggro Evolve deck with very explosive lines once you awaken. Turn 3 you can start pumping out bodies quickly.
Still wondering if it’s fast enough for the format.

Namek Goku (Black)
Looks like another midrange powerhouse, but it might be too slow in this new meta. Haven’t tested it much yet though.

πŸ§ͺ What About the Old Leaders?

I haven’t done a ton of old leader testing with the new cards yet since I wanted to evaluate the new leaders first, but some older leaders that still look competitive:

β€’ Giblet (new support)
β€’ Shallot (new support)
β€’ Kid Buu (still strong)
β€’ Red Gohan (still aggressive)
β€’ Manga Namek Goku (maybe?)
β€’ Yellow Vegeta – Floodgate probably needs to be banned
β€’ Caulifla (new support)
β€’ Vegito (might struggle vs SS4 though)

Overall, a lot of leaders still feel viable, which is a great sign for the format.

πŸ”₯ Honestly coming off FB08 (arguably the best format Fusion World has had) and heading into FB09 + the EX starters, the game really feels like it’s hitting its stride.
