Mom of 3 Kids in Tokyo

Tiny-home chaos, real sounds, simple English subs.

I’m Akari—mom of 3, raising my kids alone most days in a 60 m² Tokyo apartment. No voice-over, almost no faces; just:

• Morning & night routines
• Weekly groceries, co-op runs, ¥300-shop hacks
• School & culture bits: Hina dolls, field-trip prep, PTA forms
• Quiet “honne” captions when life feels too loud

1 long vlog (6-9 min) + Shorts every week.
If you want the honest rhythm of a not-so-perfect Tokyo family, plug in your headphones and come inside.

Mom of 3 Kids in Tokyo

We found a hidden gem in Japan—a place that’s not easy to get to, but worth every second. 🇯🇵✨

We just got back from a family trip to a remote part of Kochi Prefecture!

This isn’t your typical tourist spot. It’s a true hidden paradise where the sea, mountains, and rivers all meet. We spent our days doing some pretty “off-the-beaten-path” activities—the kind of core, authentic experiences you can only find when you really dive deep into nature.

From catching fresh local flavors to swimming in crystal-clear waters, this trip was pure magic.
We’re putting together a new vlog to share the journey with you. If you’re into hidden gems and nature-filled family adventures, you won’t want to miss this one!

Can you guess where we were? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Mom of 3 Kids in Tokyo

Did you know that in Japan, we return our old "Omamori" (charms) to the shrine every year? ⛩️ It’s a way of showing gratitude for the protection we received.

One thing visitors often find unique is how Shinto and Buddhism coexist in our daily lives. We visit shrines, pray at temples, and many even have Christian-style weddings! At the heart of it all is a deep respect for our ancestors.

I’m curious—does this mix of traditions seem strange to you? What are the beautiful rituals for protection or family in your country? I’d love to hear your stories in the comments! ✨
