Hi, I'm Francis and I like to fool around with machine tools.
I love making custom tools and sharing some of the things I've learned spending my best years in a dark garage. Sometimes I come up with some crazy contraption just for fun.
The skull and crossed tools should suggest I'm not a professional at anything I do, but what I lack in skills I make up for with a severe obsessive compulsive disorder.
So, if there's something wrong with you too—and for some reason you decide to stick around—welcome to Project Havoc, where careful planning and chaos go hand in hand.

This is going to be a quick one... I thought before Christmas! Well, it took me more than two months, BUT I feel like the final result was worth it. A lot of design and attention to details went in this one, and TODAY the video will finally drop at 12.00 pm Eastern time!

Dear friends and fellas, the second year of the channel is about to end.
We grew 10 times compared to this time last year and a lot of cool things are starting to move around this little community of ours.
2026 is going to be busy and awesome. Hopefully legendary. It’s always good to aim for legendary.
And I want to wish you the same, my wonderful community. You that had been there watching, and you that had been there sharing your experiences and ideas in the comments.
For all the effort I put in this channel I got back nothing but support, positivity and encouragement. And that’s pretty neat in an age where the internet is often branded as this obscure land where only A-holes rules.
Assuming that’s true, I’m glad we are the exception.
Project Havoc is pretty much the best thing I’ve done and you can bet your sweet behind I’m gonna keep doing it.
Thank you again for everything and cheers to you all my dears.
See you in 2026.
Francis

I couldn’t just fade into 2026 without giving 2025 a proper conclusion, couldn’t I? 😊 Happy Holidays, my friends. May the gods od steel be with you!

This is super cool: In my great grand father house there has always been a pair of post war wire cutters that just worked great, miles better than anything I could buy in the ‘90s.
50 years old, always sharp has hell, not a sign on the jaws (aside for a big one, but that was my fault), springy handles, fantastic.
Today I read the handle and it turns out they are a pair of knipex, made in West Germany!
I’ve probably read that handle before, but this is the first time I do it actually knowing the brand. So I just smiled and thought: “Bloody hell, of course they are!”

Tomorrow a new video will drop, so we can have some summer fun. Get ready for: impressive tolerances with abysmal tooling, a lubrication mystery and a tour of the workshop. See you tomorrow (12 pm Easter[n] Time).
