I am a minimalist filmmaker/photographer who likes to be in nature.
I believe in light and composition... Everything else is background noise to me.
This channel is mainly for the videos I shoot during our very limited days off. Some of them are shot under 30 mins and edited in less than an hour. So please move to another channel if you wanna see technically perfect videos. I love making videos since I was a kid. This was way before digital cameras. I was borrowing our neighbor's film camera to shoot vlogs of my friends. Good old days...

A quiet desert road trip with the Canon R6 Mark III and RF 16-28mm f2.8.
No talking. Just taking it slow and actually using the lens.
Really liked it. Lighter than the 15-35mm, solid image quality. That retractable design is still a bit annoying, but you get used to it.

This was my final trip with the Canon R6 and it felt like the right time to close this chapter. I am choosing my next camera very soon. Canon R6 Mark III or Sony A7 V or Nikon ZR. Let me know what you think fits my style the best. More Oregon videos are coming and I am grateful you are here.

Shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro in ProRes HQ. No filters, no accessories other than a tiny MagSafe tripod and an SSD for nightly backups.
Loved using the telephoto lens for the stormy waves and being able to shoot in the rain without worrying about gear.
What do you think about using iPhone as your main travel camera?
