Your Suzuki Violin Practice-Along Channel 💚🎻✨

Welcome to Violin Garden! My name is Anna Lea and I am a certified ESA Suzuki Violin Teacher in Vienna, Austria. On this channel you will find a growing number of videos with the Suzuki repertoire, in various tempi, for you to play along with or copy by watching and listening as well as simple tutorials and additional repertoire for various occasions. These videos are intended to help you prepare for your weekly lessons and group classes with your home teacher.

I have been truly blessed to have the violin in my life and I have been teaching the art of violin playing to both children and adults for over two decades. It gives me great joy to pass this on to anyone who is willing to learn🦋🎻🌷

Thank you for joining the Violin Garden Community🙏 -Together through music, we can make our world a better place!

Violin Garden

🎻I found a really old video of me playing the Prokofiev Violin Concerto in D-major, which I absolutely love, and loved working on at the time! If you don´t know this piece, I highly recommend you listen to it, its awesome! Maxim Vengerov together with Rostropovich, has (in my humble opinion) the best recording of it!
Unfortunately though, my audio was so bad that I can´t share it, so a screenshot of me playing it many, many years ago will have to do, with an encouragement to listen to Maxim playing it 😊

I am curious: Do you practice the scales, tonalization exercises that your teacher gives you, every day? I really love doing my scales and exercises as my playing sounds much better if I do 😅🎻
What about you?
