You guys have been incredible with your support recently on the channel... and throughout all the years that it has been running, tbh. I've been thinking about this for a little while, and this evening I've decided to pull the plug and announce that my YouTube channel from now onwards will feature memberships!

You might have experienced this with other content creators, and it's similar to subscribing to streamers on Twitch, but it's a way for you to help support me and the channel and at the same time, gain a little more in return.
By joining on my YouTube channel and becoming a member, you get the following:
- Access to member only livestreams: I have a few ideas for these already, but mainly streaming pretty much every practice session I do in the days leading up to a race or event, whenever I do practice. With the current schedule of doing 2 Online Championship races per week, this will equate to an additional 2 livestreams per week, usually on the Sun and Weds evening. Through this, you'll get to see first hand how I go about preparing for a race/event, learning tracks, and working on the cars setup. These will remain as members only streams once they are over too.
- Early access to video uploads: You'll get to see new videos before anyone else, pretty much as soon as they get uploaded. Usually I wait around 24 hours between uploading and publishing (unless it is something I need to get out quickly), so you'll get to see these videos first before they go live.
- Members only shorts: I imagine these will be fairly rare, but the benefit is there if something fits to use it.
- Member shout-outs on stream and videos
- Exclusive badges and emoji's.

I've set a single membership tier at £5 per month, giving you access to all the above and potentially more in the future. If you have any other additional ideas or feedback on it, I'm all ears and more than open to discussing it.

For those who aren't willing to become a member, that's totally cool and do not panic! Nothing else on the channel will be changing. We'll still continue to do the usual 2 livestreams per week of the Online Championship races openly for everyone, as will the setups that I end up creating and using in those races, they will remain free for everyone too!

It's just a chance for those who want to become part of the crew and to give a little more to help support, the opportunity to do so, and gain access to a few perks for your generosity.

Or click the Join button under any video or livestream.

Thanks again! And I hope you're having a good weekend! ❤️

First community post of the year, and I'm pleased to announce that I'll be taking part in Make A Wish's Drive For Wishes event on Sunday 9th Feb!

We'll be doing in an 8 hour endurance race around Road Atlanta in iRacing, raising money for Make A Wish to help grant kids with critical illness a moment of joy and happiness.

I'll be competing in the event solo for the whole 8 hours and livestreaming my perspective, so I'd love for you all to join me and help support this great cause. The livestream link will soon follow, but here is my fundraiser page for the event if you wish to make a donation.

It's happened! Hit the big 40K in subscribers on my channel!
Thank you to all those who have supported me over the years! I'm honoured that you guys and girls find me interesting enough to watch from time to time, and that you find my content helpful in improving your own driving and enjoyment of racing sims.

As previously mentioned, I'll be doing a AMA/Q&A video to celebrate, so if you have any questions, in particular around sim racing game development or working on the Project CARS series, please post them and I'll try and include them in a video.

We're getting very close now to hitting 40K subscribers on the YouTube channel and as part of a thank you, I thought it might be cool to do a bit of a AMA (Ask Me Anything) with a video answering some of your best questions.

These can be anything from a bit more about me, YouTube, gaming, sim racing, real motorsport or even my past in sim racing game development / game development in general.

Obviously, there may be some questions that I can't fully answer, but I shall try to reply to as many as I can.

So, feel free below to post your questions, where I shall be gathering them to include in a video in the next week or so.

Thank you all for the support in helping the channel get to where it is today. I Look forward to hearing your questions ❤️

Well, after having the weekend to take a moment and decompress from the iRacing Petite Le Mans race, I wanted to provide a post with an update.

So the race itself didn't go the way I planned, lol. I crashed on lap 2 which put me 6 laps down straight from the off, and then another incident 5 hours in with some GT3's slowing up unexpectidly really brushed away any sort of pursuit for the couple of positions ahead. I was still planning on finishing the race, however my stream and OBS decided to have other ideas.

For whatever reason, the stream ended whilst in the pits repairing after the 2nd incident. I was unaware of this at the time and drove back out onto the track, driving for about 5 laps before realizing that my camera on my stream preview had frozen. I looked over at the stream on YouTube on my third screen to see that it had all gone down. I tried to make multiple attempts to restart the stream, even restarting my PC, but nothing was sticking and lasting more than a minute or two. It was at that point I called it off.

I'm absolutely gutted, as my intention was to complete the whole 10 hours to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association. Whilst I didn't complete that target and the money raised was short of the target I was hoping for, the community and those tuning into the stream were fantastic! We raised £140 and momentum was building, up to the point that the stream cut itself short. I'm personally adding another £60 to round it up to £200 raised from the event.

That money will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and help those suffering from the horrible disease to have a more comfortable life, and provide funding to go to the research for a cure.

I'll leave the campaign up until the end of the week, so anyone who wishes to donate can still do so. Thank you once again to all those tuning into the livestream, cheering me on, and donating your hard earned money. We will be back stronger in the future.

OBS seems to keep crashing or losing connection to any stream I create. No idea as to why, as everything seemed fine previously. I hate to say this but unfortunately going to have to call it there for tonight. There's nothing I can seem to do to get a streaming going for more than 30 seconds.
