It is. But not the soft kind.
Litha is the sun at absolute maximum power. The longest day, the shortest shadow, & the moment when the light reaches everything and leaves nothing concealed.
The ancients built their bonfires not to decorate the season but to mirror it. To add their fire to the sun's fire. To burn deliberately what the light had already exposed.
In every earth-based tradition that lived close enough to the sky to read it, midsummer was the time of revelation and release. What has been hidden comes forward. What has been endured gets named. What no longer serves gets committed to the flame.
This year the Fire Horse carries that fire.
