Hello, and Thank you for visiting. My name is Charles Wollertz, I've been a full-time traveling photographer for over 10 years. Started with Stock Photography and learned a lot from Just Doing It. From there I've been doing a lot more commercial work for different restaurants all the way from Costa Rica to Northern Idaho.
Doing something, as uncomfortable as it may seem at the beginning forces you to learn new skills, practicing those skills will make you better at your craft. I am new to video, new to being in front of the camera, I am learning, expanding and growing in this path that I have chosen.
I have been inspired by so many great YouTubers out there and I wish to inspire others, if I can motivate just one person do do what they love without fear then I have reached my goal, believe me. If I can do this, anyone can.

All jokes aside. So many are worried about AI taking over stock photography. This particular photo of cranberry juice has been my best seller for 10 years. Making me over $100 per year. I just received $55.23 yesterday for this photo.
Yes it can easily be replicated with AI, but I believe editors and advertisers are being very careful when it comes to using images commercially. Yes smaller blogs and smaller business will switch to AI but large corporations and advertisers are going to continue to use stock agencies for a long time.
In my opinion Stock photography is changing again, as it has many times over the years. But it is still alive and with the right photos, you can still make a good income.

A few weeks ago I made a video on finding/creating commercial value in your photos, Just this morning 3 of those photos have been licensed, this is great for many reasons.
1. I made 3 sales
2. The advise given in the video works!
3. Another video down in which my example photos for stock sell. Only my most recent videos the photos haven't been licensed and one reason for that is that the photos are still pending review 😅.

Not all stock photos sell for $0.10 or $0.25
Alamy sells images for much more, sales are not as frequent and what i'm showing is the sales price and not the commission (50% to 40%) Still an option for those who don't want to sell images for less than $1.00
