Hi, I’m Nick Hagen, and you’ve found The Pensive Writer — a place where screenwriting meets curiosity, creativity, and a little chaos. Here, we talk screenwriting without the snobbery. From quick tips and storytelling secrets to fun facts about famous scripts and top five screenplay lists, this is where writers come to learn, laugh, and get inspired.
The entertainment industry can be tough — full of rules, rejection, and “you’re doing it wrong.” The Pensive Writer is the opposite of that. It’s a space for writers who want to keep learning and keep loving the process.
