Hello, I'm Elmas yoder,

My name is Elias Yoder. I am Amish. I farm here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and a working farm in the heat of August is about the flyest place God ever made. We have the barn. We have the chickens. We have the dairy cows and everything that comes out the back end of a dairy cow. And yet you can sit at my kitchen table at noon on the hottest day of the year with the door propped open and a pie cooling on the counter, and you will not be swatting.

On this channel, I share timeless skills and forgotten wisdom that helped families live with independence and purpose for centuries. From traditional farming and gardening to food preservation, handmade crafts, simple living, and old-fashioned problem-solving, these are practical skills that still matter today.
