In Irish folklore, the Tuatha De Dannon, aka The Little People, fairies and elves, were one of the original inhabitants of Ireland. One day, the Milesians, a warrior tribe arrived and attacked them, eventually driving them underground.
They excelled in science and art, honored the goddess, and had rare insight in the laws of nature. Lived in “palaces of light”.
