This ski season was absolutely insane. So good in fact that I’ve been behind on so many videos because I filmed so much! I haven’t even gotten to my best videos yet which is crazy. I promise you that for the month of May, I’m going to deliver the best possible videos I can for you all and hopefully try to get everything posted before June! It’s really hard keeping up with these uploads especially with how limited time I have but it’s what I love to do! All Canada vlogs for the season are posted so go check em out!
Should be back on snow this week. Been pretty sick the last few days. Had a 102 fever so I’m just taking it easy, I tried to film a surf session in the snow down here before that but nothing really worked out with that. The skiing will probably be pretty mellow when I’m back but hoping to get a nice vid or 2 out for you guys.

Looks like YouTube is getting even more strict with copyright now. One of my Snowbird videos (S5E6) just got blocked in the United States for a song that was used for a minute of the video. The video has been public for 8 months and now all of the sudden YouTube decided that it's a problem. Not sure how many more of my videos are going to start suffering from this, hopefully not many more. It's frustrating spending 8+ hours of editing on a video just for YouTube to wait half a year to tell you that there's a problem...
Does anyone have any recommendations for music licensing websites or something to avoid copyright problems? I'm still trying to figure this out after years and YouTube shows no interest in making it easy for us.
EDIT: After doing some more research, I revisited the songs on YouTube and other videos that used those same songs and each video states that they can not be viewed because they contain content from SESAC. Unfortunately it looks like all of those videos including my Snowbird powder day video are going to be blocked for a long time unless I remove that song with YouTube editor. Still not sure what the big deal is with YouTube and this copyright stuff. It just makes it less enjoyable to make videos in general.
