This time next week, I’ll be in Texas competing in America’s Most Beautiful Nationals as Mrs. Atlantic.

I decided to join last minute, only two weeks to prepare, but I’m having a blast already. From pulling out my gowns, putting together my wardrobe, connecting with other contestants, it’s been a whirlwind, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Earlier tonight I attended our monthly Library Trustee Board meeting. The proposed municipal reorganization affecting our Framingham Public Library was back on the agenda.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky and City Councilor Mike Cannon were in attendance. The conversation continued to be thoughtful and engaged. The reorganization will now go before next week’s City Council meeting for a vote.

As an elected Library Trustee, I’m proud to see how much this community cares about our library. Even in the midst of a lot of discussion, that love comes through. 📚

Bonjour friends, well… never say never lol! Friends, since I am on break from school at Harvard, I have decided to compete in a beauty pageant again….America’s Most Beautiful Nationals in a couple of weeks in Texas.

For those who know my journey, it’s been years since I’ve been a contestant myself. Since then I’ve stepped into new roles in this beauty pageant world, as a judge, a coach, and a commentator through my award winning Crowned Voice interviews.🎥🎙️ I also just came back from an ankle injury that kept me out of heels for 11 months, so this is a full circle moment for me. Plus, I am 55 1/2 years old, and will be standing on stage next to women who are half my age.

But why? and why now?? Because it’s fun, because it brings awareness to my widow policy advocacy work, because I get to make new friends in this sisterhood, and honestly, because I still get to wear my beautiful gowns. Plus it’s going to be an amazing summer experience!😊

Yes, I am back on stage, as Mrs. Atlantic 2026. Let’s Frolic!!!

Per my previous post, while in Charlotte, North Carolina 4th of July weekend for Ziv’s Taekwondo Nationals we made the most of our time in the Queen City.🇺🇸

We explored Uptown Charlotte and had the most delightful surprise…running into some of our beautiful followers while simply walking around. That never gets old. We love meeting our online community in person 🤍

We also visited the Dunhill Hotel, a historic landmark that was once a jail for runaway slaves. However, what was shocking to me was that when we asked the employees about the history none of them knew😩 Some stories must be told and preserved!!! 🙏🏽

On another day we took a photo in front of the iconic Queen City sign because when in Charlotte, you must. 👑

And our home base for the weekend was the beautiful Hilton Uptown Charlotte was close and made it easy for us to frolic. Look at that beautiful lobby connected to the Hilton ✨

Charlotte surprised us in the best way. Stay tuned for Ziv in action at nationals and also other places we visited during our stay in North Carolina.

Crowned, sashed, and standing beside my forever gentleman-hubby who always sees the queen in me. I was Mrs. Massachusetts 2022.

When I was just 8 years old, I competed in Little Miss Bahamas.
At 50, I stepped back on the stage and fulfilled that dream again.

What a season of frolics that was. It also led me to creating an exquisite beauty collection lipsticks that has been very successful and well received by my online community🙏🏿

Anyways… I think I’m getting that pageant feeling again. 👀
