What a crazy night! Dinner was delayed just as I was putting the Million Dollar Chicken into the oven! Power was out for about two hours. Our city creates its own energy with a dam and the storm this evening was a wild one. Wind, rain, thunder and lightning! The wind blew a tree over near the dam and knocked out all the power to the entire city. Luckily it was just the one line! How is your weather? I have heard some states are in a snow warning and others are too hot. The too hot I get its summer after all but snow that is amazing! Stay blessed friends!

Good morning sweet friends. Yesterday I did a live and our storm started. I can't make it public because of what happen. I am sorry to the people who were in there when I left so abruptly. Tubbs was having a lot of anxiety from the storm and when this happens he runs around the yard barking. Our neighbor likes to sit outside and smoke while talking on the phone. She began screaming at him using profanity. So once that started I had to close my live stream.

I found some frozen blackberries and decided to make some muffins to enjoy with our coffee today. Although they are not all uniform in size they tasted great after hours of shoveling snow! I have attached the recipe. I did sub the sour cream for some plain yogurt.

🌧️ Rainy-day cooking + random chit chat!
I made a Cajun Sausage & Rice Skillet today (recipe from Budget Bytes 🍚🌶️ — so good with 4.9 stars ⭐) and couldn’t stop talking while cooking 😂.
Here’s the finished skillet! Charley ate two bowls and gave it 5 and a half stars! I thought it was a very easy and inexpensive dinner to make. Plus it didn't take very long👉 what do you think? Would you try it?
