Join me, my opinionated wife, and our daughter as we review EVs, explore sustainable home tech, and head off on road trips — all with plenty of lively debate along the way. Family life, honest opinions, and yes… my wife is always right 😬
My goodness, this Kia PV5 Passenger is good. I'm now desperately trying to justify getting a van! For a small family like ours, it's really not needed but if you need the space, I'm not sure there's anything better out there for the money.
This top-spec Plus trim is £36,795. Some specs: 256 miles (WLTP), rapid charges to 80% in 30 mins, 1,330 litres of boot space (with the rear seats up), and V2L to power your devices (coffee machine, fridge, freezer, whatever).
Comfortable, masses of space (obviously), and I think looks great. And *much* cheaper than the brilliant ID. Buzz.
We're filming our thoughts this week and will try to publish the review soon.
As you know, we returned from our Smart #5 road trip a couple of weeks ago and I’m now frantically reviewing all the footage.
There seems to be a bit more than usual so I’m considering a different approach this time. Instead of the usual two hour-long episodes, perhaps I should release several shorter episodes?
This would allow for faster releases but the episodes might be a bit more casual with more inane ramblings from my wife that I usually cut out.
I know lot of you have been patiently waiting for our Netherlands road trip in the Renault Scenic. It's only taken eight months(!) to edit, but it's now finished! Members will get the 1.5 hour Director's Cut next week but I think I'll split it in two parts for everyone else.

I'll be at Everything Electric in Farnborough tomorrow (Saturday 11th October). If you see me, say hello!
And no, my wife won't be there, sorry!
