Putting together some material for a video on scariest scenes of all time (not just a list but a deep psychological dive). There's not much of use out there in terms of public opinion polls on the subject. What are the scariest scenes you've ever watched? Not the "best" scenes. I mean the scenes that most unnerved / disturbed you, whether you actually rate the movies highly or not. Try to include a few examples, cheers.

Another poll out of curtiosity. I was rewatching Reservoir Dogs last night and even though I already remembered it being greast, I enjoyed the rewatch much more than was expecting. Some amazing acting / dialogue sequences. I've always held Pulp Fiction up as Tarantino's best, but Reservoir Dogs gives it a run for its money. In fact I'd say the story structure of Dogs is arguably better because it all sticks with the one central story, though PF has a ton of great isolated stories / scenes. Two masterpices. Which do you think is best?

Did a poll a good while back on Goodfellas vs Scarface (vote was in favour of Goodfellas, though personally I'm 50 / 50 on it - love them both). So, how does Scarface compare to Godfather? Which do you rate higher?

Currently writing a couple new vids on one of my fave movies, Creepshow (1982). And will be recording a vid on my top 35 fave foreign language movies. Meanwhile, ad revenue has been picking up quite a bit on here since I mostly stopped using clips from movies (sorry, still don't have a way around this issue). In turn I'm now able to lower the prices on the vids on my site. Have dropped the prices on most of them between 20-30%. If ad revenue keeps rising, I should be able to lower them even more.

What's your rating of The Godfather? I'm planning a vid on this at some point, but interested to see the stats that come out of this poll.

Quite a few people getting fired up lately when I call a movie overrated or even suggest ways it could be better. What's your position?

BTW folks, last day for the discount sets on my site. The Thing, Alien, the Shining, Eyes Wide Shut ... there are sets on these and more, containing longform vids that I've never made public. collativelearning.com/FILMS%20reviews%20BY%20ROB%2…

Strong reactions to my recent vid on 60 overrated movies, positive and negative. Viewcounts and engagement certainly higher than usual. The biggest gripe seems to be that I didn't go into detail about each specific movie. I didn't think everyone would be expecting me to, so apologies for that. Given it was 60 movies over a near two hour vid it averaged out at less than 2 mins per film. So ... regardling the most controversial picks ... esp Jurrasic Park, Jaws, Godfather, Truman show etc ... I'd be happy to do a follow up vid going into more detail about why I think they're overrated. But the question is ... would you folks want to watch it, especially if you already love those movies? Obviously there'd be stupid ragebait accusations again, so I'll put it to a vote ... again. Would you want to see this follow up vid?

Watched both Backrooms and Obssession this week. Found them both very interesting. Will post reviews soon, but first will be recording a review on one of the most important books on the psychology of serial killers. The latter will be paywall for Patreon supporters and channel members. The two film reviews will be freebies. Hopefully can get them all done within the coming week. Maybe even get my vid on best foreign language movies squeezed in there too - the list is ready.
