Last night I built a naked GoPro 8. Then I rebuilt my protek to put it on. I used a smoke stopper. Tested everything without arming in the house.
No issues.
Took it out this afternoon for a test flight. Had it sitting on my car and plugged it in. I turned around to grab my phone to connect the naked GoPro and it immediately caught fire. I flung it off my car to the ground. Hell of a fire.
Fc is toast.
Vista is burned, and I'm not sure if it works.
The GoPro 8 works fine - thank God.
Not sure what I want to do with this now. I guess I just need another fc, but I think I'd rather sell the frame and all the parts I have for it.q
