COMPONENTS OF FOOD
1. Carbohydrates
2. Proteins
3. Fats
4. Minerals
5. Vitamins

All the above nutrients are essential for our body. Among these, Carbohydrates, Proteins, and fats are required in large quantities. Hence, they're called MACRO NUTRIENTS.
Minerals and Vitamins are required in very less quantity. So they are called MICRONUTRIENTS.
