Tip of the Day!
With rain moving into the area in the next few days, make sure your sump pump is working properly. A simple test: pour some water into your sump pit. If the pump kicks on and drains the water, you're good to go. If it doesn’t, it won’t work when heavy rain hits—potentially leading to flooding in your home.
I also highly recommend a backup sump pump. If your primary pump malfunctions or the power goes out during a storm, a backup system will keep pumping out water and help prevent flooding. Be proactive, not reactive—check now to stay dry!
