This comment on Twinkle deeply touched me because it aligned with our vision that this movie is also a tool for evangelism. https://youtu.be/hHoXiJr29Mc?si=B-ovF...
So, have you been wanting to share Jesus with someone but haven't found the right time or the right words?
What if God could use something as simple as a movie to begin that conversation?
Perhaps you believe evangelism is important, but life has been so busy that you've unintentionally left it to pastors and ministers.
Do you long for someone you love to know that Heaven is real, that eternity is a choice we all must make, and that no one is beyond the reach of God's mercy?
Twinkle presents the reality of eternity, the urgency of making a decision for Christ, and the incredible mercy of God that reaches us wherever we are.
If any of this resonates with you, here's something simple you can do.
Pause and pray. Ask God to honour what you are about to do.
Then share the Twinkle Movie link within your WhatsApp groups, your family, your friends, your colleagues, or that one person God has placed on your heart.
Today, you can become part of someone's salvation story.
One shared link. One viewer. One changed life. One soul brought closer to Christ.
And let me say a big thank you for every comment you’ve posted online. They remind us that God is already using Twinkle to touch lives. Let's continue to spread this message together, trusting Him to do what only He can.
Mercy is when God steps in and helps us escape the punishment—or sometimes even the full consequences—of our wrong choices. Not because we deserve it, but because He loves us deeply.
God’s mercy saved Ewa, but it was a very close call. And that is the lesson for all of us: never take God’s mercy for granted. Mercy is an invitation to change direction, not a licence to keep walking into danger.
Let’s not mistake God’s kindness for permission to continue in the wrong path. Instead, every act of mercy should draw us closer to God, make us more grateful, and help us choose wisdom the next time around.
If You have every Experienced God's Mercy... Comment ..... I AM GRATEFUL FOR GOD'S MERCY
That phrase has become very common in recent times, and rightly so.
A journey is a beautiful thing when it moves us purposefully in a direction—in this case, toward knowing God more deeply and learning what it means to serve and please Him.
At the same time, perhaps the idea of a journey should inspire us to remain intentional rather than comfortable with standing still.
Growth takes time, but it also flourishes when there is focus and a willingness to keep taking small steps forward.
In everyday life, we embark on journeys with clear goals and direction.
We wake up each morning and head to school or the office with purpose.
A young man may hope to be married by the age of 35 and make decisions that align with that dream.
A business owner may work diligently with the goal of breaking even within a year.
A student preparing for professional exams follows a study plan to achieve success.
An athlete training for a competition remains disciplined because of the prize ahead.
Clear goals. Clear direction.
In the same way, our pursuit of God can also be intentional.
While every person's walk is unique and unfolds at its own pace, we can continue to seek Him wholeheartedly, taking practical steps that draw us closer to Him each day.
The journey of knowing God is not about perfection, but about purposeful progress and a growing desire to love, serve, and please Him more.
Let’s Talk Twinkle (3).... Ewa was compelled to get drunk at a business diner because she wanted to secure a one-million-dollar contract at all costs. https://youtu.be/hHoXiJr29Mc?si=E0Dhg...
Let’s be real, we are all faced with situations where there seems to be a compelling reason to compromise our faith and principles —even as strong, believing Christians.
The true test of our faith is not what we do when obedience is easy, but what we do when compromise appears to offer an advantage.
Years ago, I managed a corporate client that regularly hosted us to business dinners. These events featured some of the finest, most expensive wines from around the world. A waiter in a bow tie would move from table to table, filling everyone's glass as we ate.
Almost every time, members of the client's top management would ask me, “Why aren't you having any?” They would go on to describe the rich taste of the wine and how much I was missing out.
I would simply smile and reply, “I don't drink alcohol.”
If I am honest, there were moments when I wondered whether my refusal might affect the business relationship because the owners of the company came from a country where it was rude to reject an offer of hospitality. But one thing was certain—I was not going to drink, no matter the pressure.
Then one evening, after several dinners and many unsuccessful attempts to persuade me, something happened.
As the waiter approached with the wine bottle, the Managing Director, seated across the table, smiled and said, “No, don't offer her any. She doesn't drink alcohol.”
In my heart, I shouted, “Hallelujah!”
The pressure to compromise is real. Sometimes it is subtle; at other times it is intense. It comes in business, relationships, careers, and everyday decisions.
Ewa bowed to that pressure, and she got drunk. There is no way that brings glory to God. Sadly, I have also seen Christians become tipsy and loud at dinner tables simply because they felt it was expected of them.
The pressure is real:
• To offer a bribe before a contract is awarded. • To inflate a contract value in exchange for a kickback. • To get pregnant before marriage to prove fertility. • To accept a "gift" when we know it is really a bribe. • To falsify financial records or figures • To enter an ungodly relationship because everyone says, “You are not getting any younger.” • To cheat in an examination or professional certification because failure seems too costly.
As believers, our calling is not to please people but to please God.
If we truly love Him, we must stand firmly on the principles of holiness, integrity, and obedience—even when it costs us something.
Because every time we choose God's approval over man's approval, we bring glory to His name.
But is there a difference between the two? Please share your thoughts in the comments section
I first heard this distinction at a wedding I attended many years ago. The Pastor spoke about the danger of relying solely on the idea of putting God first in our Christian walk.
For many of us, putting God first means starting the day with prayer and Bible study. It may mean attending church on Sunday and feeling satisfied that we have given God the first part of our week. These are good and necessary practices.
However, the danger is that after giving God the first part of our day or week, we may then go on to live the rest of it according to our own plans, wisdom, and desires.
Having God at the center of our lives goes much deeper. It means involving Him in every aspect of our lives. We walk with Him, consult Him, rely on Him, and seek His guidance in our decisions, relationships, work, finances, and plans. God is not just the starting point; He becomes the constant influence and focus of everything we do.
So yes, there is a difference.
Putting God first is about giving Him priority.
Having God at the center is about giving Him control and allowing Him to shape every area of our lives.
Both are important, but God desires more than a place at the beginning of our schedule—He desires to be at the very center of our lives.
And perhaps that is the question we all need to ask ourselves: Is God merely first on my list, or is He truly at the center of my life?
The answer to that question may explain many of our victories, struggles, and spiritual frustrations.
After all, God was never looking for a slot in our timetable. He has always wanted the throne of our hearts.
Stay tuned for Let’s Talk Twinkle (3), where we will explore another powerful lesson from the movie that may challenge the way you see faith, relationships, and God's purpose for your life.
Let's Talk Twinkle! Many of you amazing people have shared how Twinkle is filled with powerful lessons that resonate with everyday life. So, what do you think about us taking some time together to reflect on these lessons, one at a time?
A large number of your comments focused on Ewa's mum—particularly her prayers and her spirit of discernment.
So today, let's reflect on the POWER OF INTERCESSION (praying for others).
1. One thing Ewa's mum teaches us is that parents should never stop interceding for their children. Not when they finish school, not when they become successful and independent, and not even when they get married. It is a lifelong assignment.
2. But it wasn't just her prayers that stood out—it was also her discernment. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, she sensed that something was about to happen to her daughter and responded in prayer.
Discernment is a gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:10), and it is a gift we should all desire and pray for.
3. Intercession is not limited to parents praying for their children. Many young people today faithfully pray for their parents, siblings, friends, and loved ones, standing in the gap on their behalf. Have you ever witnessed or experienced this personally?
4. Another lesson from the prayer scene was the importance of partnership in prayer. When Ewa's mum became weary and could not continue alone, she called her prayer partner instead of postponing the prayer meeting until the next day.
Do you have a prayer partner—someone who can stand with you when your strength is running low?
5. Was there any other part of the prayer scene that spoke directly to you or reflected something you have experienced in your own life?
