It’s fine if you MENTION und3rage characters (more specifically, teens) having s3x in books. It’s a real thing that happens, and there shouldn’t be anything wrong with mentioning it as something that happened if you want to. The issue is (if your characters are under 18) smut. You should not be writing smut scenes of und3rage characters at ALL. Cough Walsh cough. Mentioning it as something that happens in a scene we didn’t see is totally fine, but an actual spicy scene is disgusting to read about when it involves minors.
Overall, I believe that if you don’t want to, you shouldn’t have to treat your teen characters like saints. If it’s fine to mention in the age range of your book, then go for mentioning it as an off page thing, but NOT an active scene in the book.
