I’m especially searching for Caribbean and African cuisine like Jamaican, Guyanese, Trini, Nigerian, and more. This must be at your home on a weekday, not at a restaurant. I’m mainly looking for everyday people and families, not restaurants.

Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy Hanukkah. Wherever you are watching from, I’m wishing you a beautiful celebration and a bright year ahead. I want you all to know that I’m deeply grateful for you.

This year has been heavy for me. But, every new day is another chance to be grateful we’re here, to breathe deep, to begin again, to do a little better than we did yesterday.

So what do I want for the New Year? To be kind. To help others. To stay true to my heart.

Life isn’t a dollar sign. It’s not a title, a number, or some highlight reel. It’s family and friends. It’s the small fleeting moments that pass too fast if you’re not paying attention. A laugh at the table. A stranger’s kindness. A meal that tastes like home. The feeling that, even in a big world, we’re still connected.

When I started on YouTube back in 2008, it was out of pure passion. You couldn’t even make money here. I want to hold onto that spirit for as long as I can, because honestly, I can see the old YouTube fading away.

You’ve never just been numbers on a screen to me. I try my best to remember the names, faces, and messages from everyone who’s commented, written to me, donated, or joined as a member. You’ve been part of my life in ways that go far beyond analytics.

I’ve never wanted something for nothing. And right now, with how tough things are out there, it doesn’t feel right taking your money when I can’t give you something fair in return.

The truth is, many top creators, even those in food and travel, are already making more than most people realize. The last thing they need is more free money.

To those who’ve been with me since day one, I’m deeply grateful. To everyone who’s shown kindness and support along the way, thank you. It truly means the world.

And I can’t wait to keep taking you around the world, because this is what I love. I’ll be doing this till I’m old, gray, and hobbling through airports with a cane, and I’m never giving up. The next year is going to be the biggest and best yet.
