I’m Matthew Hardy—an actor, musical theater writer, and creator of Bored and Confused Reviews, where I review New York theater.
This channel is where I share what I’m working on: original songs, demos, and material from my shows, from children’s theater to larger musical projects. Some of it’s polished, some of it’s still in progress, but it’s all part of building new work.
You’ll also find my Bored and Confused reviews, where I cover Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and answer two simple questions: Was I bored? Was I confused?

Just posted my review of DAD DON'T READ THIS — the Off-Broadway show with some great buzz. It's a New York Times Critic's Pick, it sold out and extended twice, and now it's at Greenwich House Theatre through July 11.

My mom just saw Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway — and she enjoyed it more than I did! 😄 We talk about the incredible set design, the robot love story, and the big question: did Oliver erase his memory at the end?
