Amara Thought It Was Sisterhood Until It Wasn’t.
Amara believed in friendships the kind where you cry together, laugh till your belly hurts, and dream big like sisters.
She had two best friends. Let’s call them Grace and Naza.
They were inseparable until life revealed they weren’t as close as she thought.
One shared her secrets.
The other shared her wins with bitterness.
Both smiled in her face while whispering behind her back.
At first, Amara blamed herself.
“Was I too open? Too trusting? Did I love them too loudly?”
But through pain, she found purpose.
Amara realized the problem wasn’t how much she gave but how little she truly knew herself.
Because when you know who you are, you stop begging for validation.
You stop expecting loyalty from people who don’t even know what loyalty is.
You start walking in rooms full of silence and still feel seen.
Betrayal hurts but self-awareness heals.
So here’s a lesson from Amara’s story:
Not every “friend” is your friend.
Not every “sister” is your sister.
But YOU?
You are worth knowing, protecting, and building.
Know yourself Love yourself,Trust your instincts.
Have you ever experienced a friendship betrayal? How did you rise from it? Drop your thoughts below👇🏽

Welcome to the 7th month of the year!
We made it not by power, not by might, but by the grace of God 🙏
He is indeed the Author and the Finisher.
If you’re alive to see this month, it’s proof that your story is still unfolding and your dreams are still valid.
This is your reminder that:
You can still achieve that goal.
You can still rise above that challenge.
You can still rewrite your story.
Work hard. Stay focused. Re-strategize. And above all, PRAY.
The second half of the year can still become your best half.
Don’t stop believing! 🙌
Cheers to July! Let’s make it count.

WHAT I’VE LEARNED SO FAR AS A LADY: LESSON ONE “DELAYED GRATIFICATION”
My name is Theresa Augustine and as I continue to evolve as a single woman, purpose-driven and vision-focused in this complex world, I’ve come to embrace one powerful truth:
Delayed gratification is a superpower.
I learned it from one of the strongest women I know my mother.
Through her wisdom, I understood that just because something is available doesn’t mean it’s timely. I’ve learned to say to myself:
Yes, I could have this now, but because it’s not yet time, I will wait and focus on what truly matters.
Delayed gratification has taught me discipline, consistency, and clarity.
It’s helped me stay grounded in a world that often rushes women to arrive, achieve, and “prove.
In choosing to wait, I discovered that I wasn’t being denied good things because I didn’t deserve them I was simply preserving my energy for when the right time came. And when it did? I was ready.
Today, the beautiful things I own,
the achievements I celebrate, and the peace I enjoy they didn’t come from pressure, comparison, or competition.
They came from patience. From choosing to wait until it was easy, natural, and aligned.
So, to my sisters out there whether you’re young or still finding your way here’s my heartfelt advice:
Practice delayed gratification early.
It will save you from heartbreak, anxiety, and the depression that often comes from chasing shadows.
It will teach you strength.
It will remind you that you are enough, even while you wait.
As I celebrate another year of life on Monday, June 16, 2025, I want every woman and girl to hear this:
Delayed gratification isn’t weakness it’s divine wisdom.
Don’t run from it. Don’t fear it.
Instead, embrace it with elegance, patience, and power.
You’re not late. You’re preparing.
And when your moment comes, it will be worth the wait.
With love,
Tesssygreat

Life is full of opportunities
but not all of them come wrapped in comfort.
Some show up quietly hidden in hard days, tough decisions, or even painful endings.
Some look like people, like places, like new paths we didn’t plan for.
And many times, we miss them not because they weren’t there,
but because we weren’t ready to see them.
That’s the thing about life:
It won’t always wait for you to feel prepared.
But it will reward you when you choose to be present. Aware. Open.
So today, be present.
Be open to growth, healing, lessons, and love even when they show up looking unfamiliar.
You never know what beauty is quietly waiting for you to acknowledge it.
Life gives But you must be willing to receive.

SHAME DID ME DIRTY BUT HERE’S WHAT I’VE LEARNT
Growing up, I learnt cake making.
I wasn’t perfect at it then, but I was good really good. My cakes were moist, tasty, beautiful.
People would compliment them, say things like, “This is so nice!” “Who made this?” And I was always the one behind it.
But guess what? I never showed my work.
I never claimed it boldly. Why? Shame.
I felt I wasn’t professional enough.
I felt I hadn’t “arrived.” I didn’t want people to see the imperfect parts.
I was shy, not because I lacked skill, but because I wanted everything to be perfect before I stepped out.
I tied my worth to perfection, and that silence held me back.
Shame made me shrink, even when I had something powerful in my hands.
I’ve learnt now that shyness can sometimes be the mask of perfectionism.
You want to be “there” so bad that you ignore where you are. But guess what? Every stage matters.
Your now is just as valid as your future.
If you don’t celebrate your current progress, you may miss out on the joy of the journey.
To anyone reading this:
Don’t let shame silence your gifts. Don’t wait until you’re “perfect” to show up.
Progress is beautiful. Growth is bold. Start with where you are, with what you have because your now is someone else’s inspiration.
I’m still learning.
I’m still growing.
But I no longer let shame do me dirty.
I show up, imperfectly but honestly and I hope you do too. ❤️

To the woman crying silently at night… this is for you.
I’ve heard people talk about heartbreak.
I’ve seen women torn apart by betrayal.
I’ve watched ladies give their all—emotionally, mentally, spiritually—only to receive silence, indifference, and pain in return.
No money, no peace, no joy… just tears and a heart that keeps breaking because you’re not being loved right.
But here’s to the ones who are choosing themselves again.
Here’s to the ones who are turning a new leaf.
To the women who are done begging for the bare minimum.
God is the one who gives genuine love.
And today, I pray for you:
May He send you someone who is kind, intentional, respectful—someone who loves you like you deserve.
May you never again shrink to be loved.
May you never again cry alone in a room where love is supposed to live.
And always remember:
Don’t give out what you can’t take in return.
Let your boundaries be your blessing.
Let your healing be your power.
Let God’s love rewrite your story.

Professionalism has cost many of us our joy.
We keep waiting for “someday” to be happy — chasing dreams and future goals, forgetting that we’re already walking in answered prayers.
This is a call to action:
Celebrate your little wins.
They may seem small to others, but they are the foundation of your big breakthroughs.
I, Tessygreat will always honor and celebrate the little wins — the moments, efforts, and progress that often go unnoticed — because they are what truly matter.
