I make videos about mostly about Tropical Plants, but also 'GROWTH' in general - because I believe you can continue to grow and improve your life at any age, and this is the path to happiness, fulfilment and longevity. You're NEVER too old to grow.
On this channel you'll find videos about the central theme of GROWTH: this could be growing tropical plants, or self-growth like physical health or growing knowledge and skills; it could be about growing income streams and a better life for your family, despite the inevitable decline of age.

I've made more comebacks than Tyson Fury. But...I'm back! At least, I'm giving it another try. For a while. But this time I'm trying something different. I'm going to take you with me in my gardening business, and show you what I do on the daily. While there'll be some commentary about various decisions I'm making, and various plants I've something to say about, there'll be long periods of nothing but the noises of spring. Something pleasant to have on in the background - and maybe learn a bit along the way. There'll still be greenhouse videos - but more along the lines of 'point of view' content while I work. And while we're at it, the pot below is one of my many layered 'lasagne' spring bulbs pots. This one's given me crocus, Iris and snowdrops initially, then various daffodils and tulips. Then there are summer bulbs coming through for the next stage. Feel free to say hi in the comments, and tell me what you think about more content from me, and my plans for a change in format. (If I get even a couple of comments I'll be inspired to make more! If not, I might slink away into the sunset again.)

Most established gardens lose flowers quietly — not because of bad pruning, but because of timing.
Camellias cut in winter.
Forsythia trimmed before flowering.
Wisteria clipped like a hedge.
The plant survives.
Next season’s display doesn’t.

Over the past year, I’ve been thinking about something slightly different.
Many gardeners don’t actually need a full-time gardener — they just need structured, seasonal direction tailored specifically to their own garden.
So I’ve quietly launched a small pilot of a UK-wide personalised garden guidance service — built around an initial assessment and then structured monthly advice.
It’s limited while I refine it.

My grow tent finally started working… but only after I changed a COUPLE of things to my Begonia setup.
It completely transformed 'Begonia arachnoidea' (see image below) and even made my Pelargonium (Geraniums in the US) cuttings flower in pure perlite - in a staggeringly short amount of time! 😅
I’ve just uploaded the full update — including the species Begonia seedlings (5 trays out of 15 have germinated so far!).
