Hello everyone. I want to be open and honest about something that's been on my mind for a while. I'm sure you've noticed the lack of uploads, and some part of that is due to big changes in my personal life. But the truth is, I'm no longer excited by Skyrim. I'm so incredibly proud of all the amazing things we've achieved since my first video on the game five years ago. But at this point, I feel like the sense of discovery just isn't there for me anymore.
After a lot of reflection, I realized what I really love is the process of creative problem-solving, especially when we do it as a community. With that in mind, I want to shift focus to exploring and playtesting indie games. I want to use this channel to give indie devs exposure and provide useful feedback alongside all of you. I have actually been kicking around this idea for a while, but when I sat down and looked at what really made my content great, this direction seemed like an obvious next step.
I know that many of you subscribed for Skyrim, and I completely understand if that's all you wanted to see. Your support means the world to me whether or not you want to watch the new stuff. For those who do want to stick around, I can't wait to go on this new journey with you. Feel free to leave your thoughts or questions in the comments, I really want to know how you feel about this. Instead I've been focusing on other areas of my life which has been pretty great honestly. That said, I still care about the community and I feel a bit guilty about being distant for so long. But I'd rather wait until I come up with a great idea than pump out garbage every week. So that's basically where I'm at.

I'm active in there almost every day, and dedicated Seekers are still amazing me with their findings there. And genuinely, thank you for being a part of my channel. We've already achieved way more than I knew was possible, and I still have ambitious goals for the future. For instance... the silver play button! So the journey is far from over.
I know the channel has gone through a few changes recently, and I'm sorry to anyone who was affected by the last video not having a 6 pixel black border in the thumbnail. I'm here for you if you need help working through this.
