Reacting to the hottest Rock from the Far East and around the World - Welcome to Rock Candy! I am an average guitarist and vocalist. I've played in various bands, genres and venues most of my life from solo to ensemble, Country to Metal and live and studio. I have loved music of all kinds since before the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show. But I was getting in a rut listening to classic rock and rarely picking up my guitar. Then I saw Babymetal. They re-fired my joy and excitement in music and opened a whole new world of rock that has made me feel like a teenager again in my old age. Join me as we explore this great world of music together - whether it's Rock, Metal or Pop, good music is good music. Rock on!
Rock Candy
For the past couple of years it has been in my head to move to the Far East and cover many of these bands from there. A few things needed to be in place before I could do this. Feeling they were last September, I booked my flight to the Philippines but had to miss it even though it was a no refund/no transfer ticket.
Since then, increasing expenses and decreasing health have left me in a bit of a limbo. Enough money, health can be dealt with properly - enough health, money isn't as big of a deal. This all got a bit overwhelming lately and I needed to step back from everything and take a breath. Hence the month long absence.
I want to thank all of you for your support for me. It has helped me all along this cool journey. I especially want to thank my baby sister for her advice and wisdom during this time. She has ever been my compass that points true north when I get lost (which is about every other day).
We are back in the saddle and look forward to more great music. Thank you again and Rock On!

Tonight, I posted two videos - East of Eden's "Our Fate" and Gacharic Spin's "Winner". Both were blocked. Typically, when copyright is claimed the video is simply de-monitized but can still be viewed. This is true of the bulk of my 750 videos. I maybe have three that are blocked. So, alarm bells went off in my head when two very different videos were blocked at the same time. In case these videos, and the next 6, don't get on the channel, my patreon will be open for free for these blocked videos. You may view them there. The link is above and in all descriptions.
