Just a quick note about my more recent DDR videos; YouTube has made a very annoying change where any portrait video under three minutes is automatically converted to a short. I'll be removing the last few videos as shorts and extending them to three minutes so they can be posted as proper videos rather than shorts.

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a wonderful start to the year - here's to a better one.

I've gone through the process of rebranding most of my other socials but I've extended that rebrand over to YouTube as well. I'll be keeping all my legacy DJ Hero videos on the channel but from now on I'll be going by IKARUS rather than the now outdated KristophDJHero.

If you've been with me from the beginning, I really want to extend my utmost thanks for your support for everything I do (whether it's DDR, DJ Hero or something else). I hope to update my channel this year with more rhythm game videos and I hope you all continue to enjoy the content.

Hi everyone!! I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas as we head into the new decade!!

It's been a busy year for me and unfortunately life gets in the way of many of the projects that I intended to undertake this summer. As we head into 2020, I don't think I will have much time to return to the games that I wanted to play - and those include DJ Hero (+customs) and Spin Rhythm. Because of that, I don't think I'll be posting many more videos to the channel from here on out (but, never say never).

I'm sorry if this news disappoints anyone!! However, I'd still really just like to say thanks to everyone who has subscribed to me and watched even one of my videos since I started doing this way back in like 2012. I still love DJ Hero and there's still a fantastic community dedicated to customs that's just recently emerged; a good search on YouTube will find you some cool stuff to watch from people who are still passionate about the game (hit me up if you want a link to the Discord).

It feels as though I closed the book on my journey with the game when I finished Omen vs. The Box, and I took a bit of a break from the channel when I did that. That break is probably going to continue for the foreseeable future; I don't really feel as though I have any content that I want to upload right now.
