BlankTV is the Net's largest, DIY, free, uncensored music video site, featuring videos and live clips spanning the past forty years of punk, hardcore, metal, indie and underground music.
We grew up in the Boston hardcore scene in the 1980's - that's the music that inspired us, saved us and changed our lives. That love of music drove the creation of our punk and hardcore website BlankTV in 1999, a way to trade live band videos with other punks online.
We started getting traffic and we grew from there. We eventually made the jump to YouTube and decided to expand our featured genres to include other styles of music due to the overwhelming number of submissions that didn’t fit within punk rock.
BlankTV is an inclusive community for all music lovers.
We’ve been at this for twenty-five years and we hope to continue connecting our audience with their next favorite artist for many years to come.
Not bad for a couple of idiot teens from Boston with two laptops, a couch and a dream.

Our YouTube channel, BlankTV, with over 775,000 subscribers and over 1.2 BILLION videos shown is in danger of being shut down over a misunderstanding.
Several music videos that had previously been made private went live again last week, causing us to incur three copyright strikes.
We contacted the label in question and they agreed to remove the strikes. However, neither they nor we have heard anything back from the YouTube Copyright team.
We're desperate to get this resolved and get the channel back online. We have two world premiere music videos scheduled for tomorrow that it looks like we'll miss launching on time.
If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so we're offline again. YouTube flagged us for a hip hop video by adult performer Riley Reid that we posted over three years ago. The video was marked as 18+, had no nudity, no advertising and linked to her personal website, which also has an age verification before entering.
So, clearly there was a great need to kick us out of posting videos for seven days as some form of penance?
I should ad we have station IDs from Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Brittany Andrews, Jezebelle Bond and many more, all of which link to their personal websites, all of which do age verification for entry.
We have two videos scheduled in the next seven days that we will have to refund money to. That is the only money the channel brings in other than donations. Since YouTube de-monetized us for being "not sufficiently artistic" unlike Logan Paul and that quasi-pedophile I was reading about earlier today...Onision.
Good stuff. Independent music videos from around the world have no artistic merit

Hello BlankTV Community! We're back!!!
As most of you know, our channel went dark six days ago after being hit with multiple copyright strikes by a record label that shall remain nameless. We provided them with proof that they had, in fact, sent us the videos in question about 10 years ago. It still took almost a week for the whole mess to get sorted and the channel to get turned back on. The point is that we're back! Thank you all for your patience and for your support!!!

With thanks to our amazing and loyal audience, BlankTV is the Net's largest punk and indie music video channel! Launched in 1999, we are approaching the twenty year mark with over 1.2 billion videos shown thanks to our loyal fans and subscribers.
We’re celebrating this milestone with a fully re-vamped website and some bold new initiatives!
To that end, we are very excited to be reporting from the Manchester Punk Festival for the first time and looking forward to spreading the chaos to our worldwide audience of miscreants, lowlifes, and troublemakers!
