This is my first time ever hitting a 6 digit number it's kinda crazy,,, and I hit it on an original song that was written for me which is even crazier!!! thank you so much for the support!!!

Let me talk about the meaning of the song for a bit since harlequin contraption means so much to me!

The song mostly talks about how toxic of a perfectionist and a workaholic I am how much of an overachiever Rula is, how she keeps "dancing" despite it taking her soul away, she keeps trying to do that perfect performance she always wanted to achieve, she puts all her "soul" into it but she will never escape her human imperfections. she slowly turns into a worn out cog that tries to keep the facade of being perfect because she wants to still feel wanted and needed and if she doesn't do her best her world would crumble everyone will leave her alone. the song has the double meaning that the contraption is both for her audience and for herself, it's very fun!! vane did such a great job!!

Honestly when I was recording this song I was so scared of releasing it bcs I kept only seeing the mistakes in it I thought everyone would not even like it but also I found it funny that I felt the exact same way that I felt in the song and I was like huh this song is really about me HAHA I need to learn that imperfections kinda add charms to my work and it's not something that I should resent, no perfect piece of art would ever exist everything has it's flaws and that what makes it feel more special sometimes. but moral of story don't strive for perfection too much or you will end up sacrificing souls to the devil or smth HAHAHAH

But seriously thank you again for the support I will try to do nothing less than my best for the future <3 !!!
