Wallahi, I cannot even begin to describe the gratitude I have for all of you. At one of my lowest points, so many of you reached out, supported me, made duʿā for me.
Over the last few days, I’ve reading all your comments and messages and I felt an overwhelming feeling, it brought me to tears. What on earth could I have done to deserve this ?
I’ve realized that our community is something special. You have shown me that our ummah is powerful! That our brotherhood and sisterhood is alive, strong, and on fire.
Together, by the permission of Allah, we have the ability to make a real impact, to reach thousands of hearts, and to be a means of guidance for countless souls.
I could not have done any of this without you. May Allah allow every single one of you to share in the reward of this effort. I am nothing. I have shortcomings, weaknesses, deficiencies, imperfections, and countless sins. Any good that has come from this work is only from Allah, and then through the support, love, and sacrifice of all of you.
I’ll say it again, because I can never say it enough:
Recently, I’ve been dealing with a difficult asthma flare, and many of you have seen me mention it over the past couple of weeks. But things became much more serious after I returned to Morocco this month.
A couple of days ago, I had to go to a private clinic for treatment. Even for something as basic as an X-ray, oxygen, and a few rounds of nebulizer treatment, the cost was extremely high. I honestly thought that would be the end of it, but after the stream last night, I suddenly experienced an asthma attack unlike anything I have ever felt before.
In that moment, I went into a deep state of panic. I realized how fragile we truly are as human beings, and how poor and dependent we are upon Allah ﷻ. I took the simplest things for granted, even the ability to breathe properly.
It reminded me how easily we live in a state of ghaflah, forgetting how quickly everything can change. In those moments, all I could think about was asking Allah ﷻ for another chance and asking Him to get me through it.
The emergency team took care of me, connected me to machines, gave me treatment, and stabilized my condition. Because of this, I missed my flight that was supposed to take me back home this morning. The doctor has now told me that it is unsafe for me to travel at the moment, and that I need to remain in the hospital until I am stable enough to leave.
All of this is from the Qadr of Allah, and I am grateful to Him for allowing me to still be here and for blessing me with a community that has supported me through so much.
At this point, I am expecting the hospital costs, missed flight(I may be able to override this), extended stay, and medical treatment to add up to thousands of dollars. Since I do not have insurance here, I am reaching out to the community for help.
Anything you are able to contribute would mean a lot, and if you are not able to donate, then simply making du‘a for me is more than enough.
May Allah ﷻ reward you all, protect you, grant you health, and never make you experience a moment like this.
When this was just a vision in my mind, I never imagined that hundreds of thousands of people would one day watch me engage with some of the biggest anti-Islamic creators in the world. I never imagined having this kind of influence, or being a means of encouragement and guidance for so many people. It all began as a simple dream.
Two Ramadans ago, during the last ten nights, I remember crying and begging Allah to give me a chance to make this a reality. And our wonderful God, the One who makes the impossible possible answered that dua. Truly, Allah turns visions into reality.
Every step of this journey has only been by His guidance, His mercy, and His blessing. I still cannot believe there are now 100,000 of you here.
Wallahi, I feel humbled by your support. Without Allah first, and then without your love, encouragement, loyalty, and support for the sake of Allah, none of this would have been possible.
Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for supporting this mission.
Forgive me for my shortcomings and mistakes along the way, and please continue making dua that Allah keeps me sincere, steadfast, and beneficial, and allows me to continue on this path for many years to come.
May Allah reward every single one of you immensely.
