well... another week, another major tech service/company migrated away from. this time: microsoft. moved all my onenote notebooks from the last 15 years over to Obsidian and the MD format. deleted all my onedrive data, changed info to fake, email to my bulk/spam one. yup.. lets see. meta, twitter, google, microsoft services/accounts are now all fake or gone.
hardest part is the youtube stuff, come on apple! make my predictions come true at WWDC in releasing a youtube competitor! please!!!
also, obsidians info graphs are crazy cool. still getting used to how things are formatted but def a good migration so far.

yup.. still got it.. got my buddy's software project all installed and running. i bet that would have taken a week for a company's it dept to do that. hehe.. good thing i dealt w/node.js before in my homelab setups. its good to be a geek. 😎

and the first patch for Swarm is already live on PS5, version 6.41. Other game developers out there, take note. HG releases and update today. then two hours later issues its first patch while other games i own still have major bugs from years ago by AAA studios.. yup.. go HG!!

man.. i tell yea.. it really pays to come back and take a 2nd look at things if the first time doesn't work out. for example, i have been trying to get my jellyfin server accessible externally via a dynamic dns entry in case plex keeps getting worse and i need to move my pals to my jellyfin server. using an ip is just not very user friendly for them.
finally took a solid second dive into and man.. so easy!! just use caddy as a reverse proxy! no need for ssl certs either. man.. what the heck was i doing prior to this! hehe.. so yea, always give something a 2nd look i say.. sometimes i do that and things play out like the first time but others, breakthrough!

oh yea, got a cheap little fm transmitter on the way so i can have my GE flipclock play music from an sd card built-into the transmitter or any bluetooth device. plus its is a good device to just have around for me with all my retro stuff (lots of things seem to have had fm tuners in them); plenty of other uses in diff scenarios 😉

the final form for now! my super retro tech shelf. def was a fun project. had to redo the shelf mounting since the left side was way lower than right 🤣
can't believe the flip clock still works!! need to take apart to clean at some point though.
