Hi all,
So as the STFC players are aware, I have a discord. I have added a new section for those who follow Trains. It's still building but some channels have already been added.
A tag has also been added which I'll have to do manually, but you will start with a Members tag so you can see the channel runs (if I have done it correctly).

There are now 2 separate tags:
STFC Players
Railways follower

When you join, if you want too, simply add the # sign followed by which tag you'd like.

STFC players, that side of the discord is currently undergoing a rebuild that will start to include charts and anything I can get my hands on for the game we love.

Hi all,

So has you've seen there have been new videos of trains appearing on my channel. As a result I will be looking at changing the name of the channel. This will reflect the content I will be adding, continuing with Star Trek Fleet Command, but also adding Trains and also Star Trek Armada 1 & 2.

So how will all this content be added?
I've listed that below.

Star Trek Fleet Command - Patch Notes and New Content ( if I have access). New ships when eventually sourced. Live streams will be switched over to Twitch and will be completely random, working around the official NDA CCs streams. As for my plans to restart the game from the beginning, I have sat down and given it alot of thought. The biggest question is whether or not I'd find enjoyment in the game once again. Sadly the question is no, I wouldnt. I'll explain more shortly.

Star Trek Armadas 1&2 - mission based videos on a weekly basis like episodes (25 for Armada 1 and predicted 30 for Armada 2). This will start dropping in second half of 2026.

Trains - any action in my local area will appear as main form video and shorts, but there will be some main station videos approximately once a month. These will include Doncaster (next video), York, Lincoln and Hull. I have to time station videos around my kids being at school so these may end up being my main staple stations for a while.

So that's the plan for the content.

So back to why restarting STFC from the beginning won't bring back any enjoyment of the game for me
The simplest answer is the way I think. I already know that if I start the game again, I'm just going to end up hitting the same blocks I have today. Also knowing how Scopley run the game, placing the idea of profit over player enjoyment, it's hard for me to be excited about the game.
Yes, Scopley is a business and has to make money, and without money there would be no STFC. It's the sad reality about it. But everything Scopley release comes across as "idea but will it make money?"or Instead of "idea but will players enjoy it?" If the answer would be yes, then build it, then look at ways to make money from it, over a protracted time.
Also content in STFC becomes outdated within a couple of months instead of lasting at least a year. Which needless to say is disappointing. Obviously I keep hoping Scopley will adopt some sort of similar position one day, but we shall have to wait and see.

Finally to finish off, I've been using ChatGPT to create some logos for my channel and shown below is one such idea. It's not final but it's close.

Finally finally, I want to thank all the subscribers and supports of my channel, your continued support gives me the drive to try and think of content for you all, even if it can be a struggle to think of what content I can do.

So Images of an inspection train at Cleethorpes for all those who follow the trains on my channel. There is a feature video coming Good Friday with a look around the outside of this lovely, and it's late night return to Grimsby.

Update: sadly I missed it return and departure from Grimsby as it arrive and departed around an hour early. Better luck next time

Hi all,

Just a quick message to thank you all for your continued support by staying subscribed to my channel. I know it hasn't been the best year for content and live streams and I do apologise for that.
But hopefully once the dust settles by April 2025 things should look better for the channel.

So for now I hope you had a great Christmas and have a fantastic new year.
