okay story time!!
today i went to the rink because i wanted to practice my basic two skills and just kinda fuck around. when i got there, two of my friends happened to be there so i got to just kinda skate with them for a bit and it was really nice. they paused for a bit and so i went out to the middle to practice my backwards swizzles (which were basically non-existent)
i was really struggling and although it wasn’t bringing down my mood, i was frustrated and wanted to blame the ice or the day and stop trying. and then out of literally nowhere this one skater ive admired ever since i first saw him at the rink during like my second time ever going just skates up to me and asks me what im practicing??? and then proceeds to give me a whole lesson on how to do it better??? like i had spoken with him before but very briefly and not like coaching or advice. i was so utterly shocked
AND IT WORKED. like i need to refine them and make sure im doing the full movement, but im getting more and more backwards swizzles in than i could before.
anyways that’s all :3

guys should i start editing pjo more??
ive done like two edits for it (both in my old editing style) and have another one coming tn for a bote, but im lwk really scared of the pjo fandom on here cuz they get reallllllly passionate. and my opinions about the series and some of the ships/characters differ from the widely accepted ones in the fandom so im kinda scared of getting slimed and hollow purpled and thrown in an active volcano all at once
like my opinions include: piper is my favorite character, and she’s not a pick me at all. i don’t like leo. percabeth is glazed, even though it is really good. the judo flip scene isn’t cute or funny, it’s lwk unecessary and frankly kinda weird. calypso x leo is extremely toxic. octavian is misunderstood and we should treat him the same way we treat luke.
and so on. im so scared of getting shot for these opinions ngl… heh ✌️

unpopular opinion:
i would love to see more of hyuna’s personality as well as her toxicity in zombie stage. i feel like she’s similar to mizisua in alnst.
a lot of people thought mizisua wasn’t toxic, because all you see is them having a genuine love and devotion for each other. it took zombie stage to get a lot of the fandom to realize that they are just as toxic as the other two ships
because in alnst, you only see luka’s toxic side of the relationship, and how hyuna rescued mizi, was trying to save humanity, and kept moving forward even when horribly injured and mentally ruined, she gets mischaracterized a lot by the fandom and so many people claim she’s an ‘innocent’ character.
maybe im just upset with the amount of hate i see on luka, but then nothing about how hyuna is selfish and incredibly cruel 😭. i think both of them are toxic, but i love luka a lot and i feel like i see more and more hate for him by the day
don’t get me wrong, i love hyuna too — my little sibling relates to her a lot so ive done a lot of deep dives and tried to learn as much about her as i could hoping to understand my sibling a little better (not in a creepy or weird way 😭)
