Please check out this podcast I did with ‪@jeremylincolnshow‬ - we had a ton of great conversation and he asked some pretty awesome questions. Make sure to give him a sub while youre there, he has plenty of other homebrewers and brewtubers on the list!
Thank you Garrett for having me on as a guest! We had a really great conversation on the differences between beer brewing and mead making - be sure to give this episode a watch and subscribe to his channel!
I had the pleasure of tasting a beer that Garrett from Man Made Mead brewed based on one of my recipes and talking about it together - Please check out his video and excellent channel! Thanks for having me on, Garrett!
Unfortunately I was unable to do a Christmas beer special this year. I attempted to brew a Weihnachtsbier or German Christmas Bock, but something went wrong and it is an extremely dry finishing and astringent mess, so it's not going on the channel. Regardless I'm glad I could at least get the Barleywine out for everyone. Going to start working on my year end wrap up video soon. Enjoy the holiday season!
Which style of grain to glass video do you prefer from my channel? I've been doing both with similar frequency over the last few months and received positive feedback on both. What does the community think?
This is one of the tastiest hazy IPAs I've made in recent memory, and I didn't touch a single hop pellet in making it! I instead used a combination of Spectrum and Incognito Flowable hop extracts - with a hypothetical equivalent of 25 oz of hops in this 5 gallon batch!
Homebrewing has a gear problem - it seems like every year there is a new multi-thousand-dollar piece of gear that gets released and promoted everywhere, sending a message that this stuff is necessary to make beer, but let me tell you it is most certainly not! Even though I don't use the nicest, most expensive gear possible, I still am part of the problem with the gear that I use. So, in this video I am going to show how to brew great beer on AFFORDABLE equipment. We'll be making a Kentucky Common, which is one of America's original beer styles, almost lost to history and revived by homebrewers. It is crisp, malty and refreshing and hits the spot this time of year!
