ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਛਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਉਸਨੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ –
“ਅਉਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੇਈ, ਆਪਿ ਹਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਖਿ ਲੈ।”
ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ –
“ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ।”
ਕੁਝ ਹੀ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਫਸਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਹੋਈ।
