📍As CAPAIDS Uganda and
@LcaUganda, we extend our congratulations to the Executive Director of @labe_uganda, Stella Tumwebaze, on being elected Chairperson of the Steering Committee of @Necda_ug. We are proud to have been part of this process.
📍In his opening remarks, @Obbo Ivan Jimmy, the Programs Director at @PlanInternationalInUganda, emphasized the vision, values, and structure of NECDA Uganda. He highlighted the importance of collaboration and advocated for a shift from confrontational to roundtable advocacy. As a network, he noted, we must prioritize ECCD as a strategic investment—research shows that every $1 invested in ECCD yields a $13 return.
📍Checked in for the launch of the Network for Early Childhood Development Actors Uganda, serving as the Secretariat of
@LcaUganda. The event is organized by the @Mglsd_UG.
