Whew. I can’t even describe how much I’ve put into wrapping this one up. But it’s finally here. I can’t even believe it myself!
I poured a huge amount of sweat and effort into this project to make it the best it could be. There were countless times when motivation was lacking, but thanks to your constant support, patience, and inspiring me to keep pushing forward, it’s finally been completed.

I really hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. See you guys at the premiere!! 🍻

Hello everyone! I come with extremely good news! [What-If] #21: Orange Piccolo and Gohan Beast VS Perfect Cell "Max" is LIKELY to come out this upcoming month!

I do have a final exam soon, in addition to a full-time job, so there could be slight delays, but the animation is about 95%~ finished. It will be over 27 minutes long. I repeat: 27 minutes!

Current Status: I am adding a few final scene additions, still need to make a credits-roll and a small animation for the outro. I've also been fixing errors, it takes some time to hunt these down as these errors across many frames, since it's a 27 minute animation, and I animate on 30fps. So... a lot of frames. but it's coming together. I am asking for your last bits of patience, even if there will be delays, it WILL be worth it.

Anyways, the waiting is almost done! I can't wait to release this. Please stay tuned for more news! :D

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well. 🍻

In my last community post, I was debating what kind of retro-style intro I should use for the upcoming animation, as I always do. After reading through your comments and thinking hard, I decided it could be really interesting to present the intro as a Red Ribbon Archive that iterates through the different Androids created by the Red Ribbon Army throughout the franchise, adding some lore along the way for each (plus a tiny bit of head-canon).
At the end of the introduction, a fetal Cell Max appears inside his capsule, as you can see here. Let me know what you think about this and stay tuned for the progress of the animation!

Hello guys! I’m back with another update. I’d say the video is around 85% complete, so let me break down what’s done so far.

Current Progress (≈85%): In terms of raw animation and most major elements, this portion is finished. What’s already done:
• All sound effects have been added. This took a long time, but it’s finally behind us!
• 2.5D camera and terrain movement are fully implemented.
• There’s one scene on Beerus’ planet where I still need to design the terrain and camera movement, but the animation itself is already finished — this shouldn’t take long.
• Camera impact movements (like screen shakes) still need to be added. Luckily, I made a script that mostly automates these, so I just need to mark where they happen and set the impact intensity.
• Visual effects (blood, particles, blasts, etc.) are done for about 70% of the video, and I’m actively working on finishing the rest.

What’s Left (≈15%):
• Around 70% of the ending scene is already raw-animated. It will make you cry. :')
• You know those short retro game–style intros I usually do at the beginning of the animations? Need to do that as well. If you have any ideas that could fit here, I’d honestly love to hear them!

I know this has taken a long time, and I’m sorry for the lack of updates these past couple of months. I’ve been juggling this alongside my preparations for exams and a recent full-time job. If you’ve read my previous posts about struggling with motivation, that’s no longer the case! I’m genuinely enjoying working on this again. :) I'm generally doing a lot better.

P.S and unrelated, For a long time I had wanted to do Perler Beads, last image attached is a picture of my first ever one! I'm really happy in how it came out. For those who don't know, I once used to do MapleStory animations, and this was my OC back then. He's still the channels' icon to this day!

Hello! Here I am with a nifty Q&A and FOUR heavy-lore screenshots! The upcoming animation is going to be packed with A LOT of head-canons, but since Super Hero gave zero explanations about… well, many things, it’s been inevitable haha. Honestly, it really let me get creative, so it's been a great chance to really put in some lore!

I know this project has been taking a lot of time, and I say this every time, and I will keep saying it: *Thank you* for your patience and support, it will be worth it! Finding motivation can be a real issue, but nevertheless, it’s slowly making progress. Regarding the Q&A part, try to ask any questions and I'll try my best to answer what I can in the comments! :D

Yo guys! Got a few updates for you regarding [What-If #21]!

• I know how much you love the infographics I include in the animations, so I’ve been thinking of a really solid way to give a valid reason for the “Beast” transformation (which has been tough, not gonna lie haha).
Originally, I was going to go with the idea that Gohan training under Piccolo over time sort of “infected” him, giving him a more demonic appearance similar to the Demon Clan. However, I think the reasoning is going to be a bit different now, or maybe a mix of both. The explanation I’m going with for “Beast,” will, as the movies and statements indicated, tie into Gohan’s Rage, something we’ve seen multiple times before in the Saiyan and Cell Sagas.

I will attribute Beast's demonic appearance to the Elder Kai's magic. Because the Elder Kai's Shinjin race originates from the Demon World, it somewhat 'corrupted' the essence of Gohan's Rage, which first manifested back in the Cell Games as a Super Saiyan 2, thus making 'Beast' take on a similar appearance, though it is not, exclusively, a Super Saiyan transformation.

• Watching Gohan control his rage while retaining his intelligence against Cell Max has helped Broly overcome his own berserk state, allowing him to finally control his Super Saiyan transformation. I believe the manga, before it entered hiatus, hinted at a close connection between Gohan’s and Broly’s respective demeanors and power-ups, and I wanted to reflect that in the animation.

• Many major parts of the animation are already complete (I'd say above 80% has been animated), the animation itself, the 3D stages, even most of the sound effects as well had been applied to that. The What-If segments, though, aren’t finished in chronological order yet. There are still some in-between scenes and extra details that need to be added so everything flows smoothly. Picking up motivation to work on this What-If has honestly been really tough (After this, I think I’ll go back to the previous 2D Sprite Animations, I’ve got more inspiration for those), But I’m steadily working on it, and it's going to be amazing, I'm doing everything at a healthy pace, so no need to worry. I still don't know of a release date since my pacing has plenty to do with the inspiration and motivation I mentioned above, which I had been lacking, but it *is* making progress.

I want to finish this just as much as everyone wants to see it finished, and mark my words, I will finish it! I really appreciate all your extreme patience with me through this. I promise it’ll be worth your time.
