America’s Spiritual Darkness: A Call to Light Through Christ
In a nation once founded on faith, many Americans now dwell in spiritual sickness, as if trapped in another dimension on a dark planet. Without inviting Jesus Christ into their lives, they descend into madness and chaos—attacking officials, defying law and order, acting like lunatics lost in cities, provoking authorities and facing needless death.
God’s Word reveals this plight. Ephesians 4:18 describes the lost: “They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.” Without Christ, hearts harden, leading to rebellion.
Romans 1:21-22 warns: “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.” This futility manifests in societal lunacy, disrespect for authority, and self-destructive acts.
Proverbs 14:12 states: “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” Provoking officials and dying senselessly echoes this path of darkness.
Yet hope remains. John 8:12 promises: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Invite Jesus to dispel the madness.
Seek help in God’s Word. Attend church, ask a pastor to pray. Turn to Jesus now—do not let souls be lost before it’s too late. 2 Corinthians 6:2 urges: “Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”

There is a sickness moving through the soul of America. Not a sickness of the body, but a disease of the spirit. Many people are walking through the streets of this nation as if they are living on another planet, a dark dimension where truth is inverted, law is despised, authority is mocked, and life itself is treated as something disposable. Violence fills the news. Rage fills the streets. Confusion fills the minds. Souls are being lost in the fog. The Bible warned us this would happen: “They have rebelled against the light; they do not know its ways nor stay in its paths” (Job 24:13). When a society turns away from God, it does not become neutral; it becomes dark. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). When people refuse that light, they walk blind even while their eyes are open.

We are witnessing frightening things in our streets. People attack police, provoke authority, mock the law, and destroy one another and themselves. The Bible describes this condition as spiritual blindness: “The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:4). When God is removed, darkness rushes in. Isaiah described it long ago: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). A society that flips right and wrong loses its stability. People begin acting not as citizens but as lost souls wandering through chaos, stumbling in darkness, not knowing where they are going, as Jesus said in John 12:35.

This is happening because America has pushed Jesus Christ away—not with words alone, but through laws, schools, culture, and entertainment. Prayer was removed, God was mocked, sin was celebrated, and truth was replaced with feelings. Scripture tells us what follows: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). People think they are free, but they are walking into destruction. “When they say, ‘Peace and safety,’ then sudden destruction comes upon them” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

This is not about politics; it is about souls. When Christ is rejected, something else takes His place. Jesus warned that when an unclean spirit leaves and finds an empty house, it returns with seven more even worse than itself (Matthew 12:43–45). That is why rage, hatred, and self-destruction now dominate so many lives. God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33), and confusion is the fingerprint of spiritual darkness.

Yet God is still calling. “Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). People are dying in the streets, provoking authority, destroying themselves, but heaven is still open. God says, “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 45:22). Jesus Christ is not far away. He is waiting.

If you feel lost, angry, afraid, or broken, that is not weakness—it is your soul crying out for God. Go to church. Find a pastor. Ask for prayer. Open the Bible. Invite Jesus into your life. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us” (1 John 1:9). Do not let your soul wander in darkness. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” (Isaiah 9:2), and that Light is Jesus Christ.

America stands at a spiritual crossroads. One path leads to repentance, healing, and peace. The other leads to madness, violence, and destruction. “Choose this day whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15). Now is the time. Not tomorrow. Not later. Come back to Jesus. Come back to the Light. Come back to life.

For more than 2 years I stayed paralyzed , lost my voice. Lost everything. But didn’t lose my faith,hope . My father told me that when we are closer to death it’s better to be closer to God. So I decided to be closer to God. I couldn’t move but I could pray . And I pray pray pray and still praying. Every day when I woke up was Sunday . I pray to God help me open my eyes so I could see. Open my mouth , make the muscles of my tongue work so I could speak. I did not have feeling of the temperature. I didn’t feel when was hot. I started to feel cold so every day was very cold even though outside was 110 degrees Fahrenheit for me was very cold. Little by little my body started to get on track of the temperature. 🤒 was taking a shower with the hose on my head that started functioning better. Who knows (?)

Anyhow that’s my drama and now I need to workout to gain balance , strength and lose the weight that stationary on my body during all this time when paralysis affected me.

I graduated from level 10 to 5 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
My videos are not well put because my hands won’t work very well yet. Who knows when start get better coordination I would be able to provide better videos. Meanwhile I appreciated your kindness and understanding.

January 29 I am going to start my journey of recovering walking and if it’s possible claiming stairs (?)
That’s my journey of recovering. I am a stroke survivor. So long paralyzed without moving and now it’s my chance.

I will try to post my journey daily as much as possible.

Essa ‘e minha jornada de recuperação. Sou uma sobrevivente de AVC. Por tanto tempo paralisada sem poder me movimentar e agora ‘e minha chance.

I just graduated from physical therapy and the next steps are:
Monday January 29 I will start a new journey: waking on stairs not sure how many steps. Until now I just did 3 steps.
Walking with Zoe around the golf course 6am before go to work.

I am counting on God for help. Health it’s a struggle day by day. So far I say: God I can’t make it by myself but with You I can. I Can Everything in God’s hands.

Now I have a new battle : cancer.
I told my doctor on Friday: I achieved one the most important victory in my life today and received this horrific news . Battle every day but not losing the hope.
Hey that’s my life.

Even though it’s harder but I will keep the faith and Hope. Where should I go? I don’t have anywhere to go? Where can I find air to breathe? It’s here hanging on in God’s Words.: that’s what’s keeping me until now. 👆👆
I was counted on the dead ☠️ and came back to life-> now I live by the Grace of God.
My father used to say:” when you are closer to die you stay closer to God. So I choose to stay closer to God. There is no place to go. Life it’s extremely short .

Each person has their own story and this it’s my story my life . My happiness it’s very simple and easy: Zoe and pão de queijo 😆😁😄🤣😂
