CHARACTERS:
VIVIAN: A struggling, anxious teenager trying to cope with his mother's emotional outbursts.
HUGO: Vivian’s supportive boyfriend who turns to smoking to handle his own immense life pressures.
MOM: Vivian’s grieving and overly critical mother who takes her frustrations out on her son.
KAYA: Hugo’s younger sister who masks her severe school bullying behind a mean, aggressive attitude.
KIRA: Vivian’s loyal and protective best friend who looks out for him and guards his secrets.
VICKY: A localized drug dealer who argues with Vivian and defends his choice to sell to Hugo.
VALENTINA: A preppy, phone-addicted influencer who uses social media to find the validation she lacks in real life.
SYLV: A bright, high-energy kid who brings humor and emotional support to Vivian's life.
FATHER: Vivian’s late dad who appears in a dream to offer timeless life advice and comfort.
YOUNG VIVIAN: A past version of Vivian who speaks safely and candidly with his father.
SYLV’S DAD: A caring parent who listens to Vivian's mom and tries to offer perspective.
HUGO’S MOTHER: A kind woman who ultimately accepts and supports her son's relationship with Vivian.
VOICE: A voice inside of Vivian’s dream.
STONER BOY: A quiet neighborhood resident who wants to be left completely alone.
