Final update for Scylla before i post the full animatic hopefully this week! Odysseus and Perimedes's hair is looking bouncy and voluminous despite the horrors
cw: blood and gore We gots Perimedes deciding to leave his comfort zone for the first time and attempt to save the homie while the Scylla heads don't realize they share the same stomach so they don't need to fight over food I'm trying to power through the last couple of scenes which mainly involves just adding some background elements and a few effects layers
Some lil Other Ways doodles! One thing i like to do is go onto sketchfab and find a random 3d model, find a cool camera angle and take a screenshot and then draw characters into the environment Anyways i found one that sparked some inspiration of Circe's basement of horrors so i decided to make some wee lil doodles, since it's a fun way to practice perspective and such Also i like the idea that Circe's place is anachronistic since she's an immortal scientist with infinite resources at her disposal
Lil Scylla update where Eurylochus is having his special boy moment and Scylla being pulled off the ship by the ropes the homies put on her! So i put together a rough cut for scylla's rampage and from the seems of things some of the deaths wont coincide with the audio's screams (i made a wav file that separated the music from the vocals and even then it was hard to hear the later screams) with the final death happening during the "we are the same" line so hopefully that won't be too off-putting for peeps. This probably due to having to combine some of the deaths into one scene since the actual rampage bit is very quick and there needed to be enough time for the Eurylochus and the crew to actually get her off the ship. It's got me wondering what it would be like from a different POV where instead of the attack being very quick since it's essentially from Eurylochus's and Ody's POV, it's from the pov of one of the rower's and therefore feels like it's very long. Basically what would the attack look like if there was no music if that makes sense idk just something i was thinking about
