After the Discord hack back in April, we've finally taken the opportunity to do a full cleanup of the server.

Over time, the community had accumulated a large number of inactive accounts, bots, and members who simply weren't around anymore. Rather than carrying that baggage forward, we've cleaned house and are starting fresh.

Going forward, the focus is on creating a community where people are actually talking about games, hanging out during streams, sharing opinions, and helping shape the future of the content and projects we're working on.

If you were removed due to inactivity, don't take it personally. You're more than welcome to jump back in and be part of what we're building.

I don't want 10,000 silent members. The goal is a community that actually shows up.

In 2022, I jumped into the Game Dev space with a group of my closest friends online. We built out a small team to bring our first game to life. We made mistakes, but we learned a lot.

We're working on our next project. It's going to be a long time until we announce it, but I'm already so excited to talk more about it with you all when the time comes.

Shout out to each and every one of you in the Fry Nation - I don't say this enough, but you all have genuinely changed my life and have allowed me to entertain you for this many years. I really want this studio and these games to be my labour of love to you, creating the games that we want to see in the space and leaving our mark on this industry.

Transience was step one in a long journey to make our dream games. And what a fantastic first step that was. Proud of where we came from and fucking pumped to see where we're heading!

I really enjoyed hearing about your guys hobbies outside of gaming. My three main hobbies are TCGs (Magic the Gathering mainly) D&D (we just started a new campaign yesterday. We also have a table our friends made with a TV screen in the center) as well as my new recent hobby with Warhammer (I fucking love painting)
