I just started to watch the series „The Swarm“ yesterday. It’s based on the book The Swarm/Der Schwarm by Frank Schätzing and I really loved the book. It was written incredibly well and I read it when I was 15 and again when I was 25.
The series on the other hand is so underwhelming that it makes me aggressive. I rarely write negative posts because everything has a reason - but if you use 40 million euros. Again: 40 fucking million euros for a series that is disrespecting the book, what could have been done better by film students and where even Frank Schätzing leaves negative comments, then it’s time to speak up..
